Before they were GUARDIAN, one of Christian meta's most beloved bands, they were known as Gardian, and played commercial metal with sci-fi-influenced lyrics (not to mention wearing futuristic costumes on stage). Now many of those long-lost songs are seeing the light of disc for the first time; unfortunately, a good chunk of them could just as well have stayed lost. This is most definitely a fans-only album. |

On the White Metal-compilation "California Metal"(Barren Cross,Deliverance,Hero,Neon Cross...) from 87? Is "Marching On" and "Spiritual Warfare" demo-versions on that compilation, or from an album...if anybody knows? They are very good though! |

You know what? Back in probably 1987 I read a review of the demo by Gardian (later Guardian) in a magazine (probably Heaven's Metal?) I wrote the band a letter asking how I could get a copy of the demo and they never wrote back! Boo! They're lucky I bothered to buy their first album a couple of years later! |

MONSTER RARE and impossible to find anything on LP! But I prefer Sacred Blade, in terms of "space metal bands".... |

Increible that somebody still remember SACRED BLADE. I am a big SACRED BLADE FAN. of the sun+moon is one of my favorite albums and i have some REHEARSELS from 82, the oficial 1982 and 1983 demos, live in canada 1984 and live vancouver, york theater canada 85. SACRED BLADE forever. GARDIAN were great too. |

Agree,Guardian(and Gardian on this one)was a great band,I love this cd and their followin'3 releases.Indeed this one is more metal than the other cd's(maybe only"first watch"may have some class influence from this one).If you like this cd I must recommend Soldier/the definitive collection(1985-89 demos)and Regime/straight thru' the heart('85 with Soldier's guitarist).Great stuff!Another thing:I must wait some Judea info, only 2 tracks on California Metal cd and STOP!I want some more Judea's song! |
