2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update #2

Dec. 5, 2025: A little over three weeks left in the annual donation drive and we've crossed 54% of the goal of covering expenses for 2026. Costs are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses. The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.

Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.

Thank you for supporting Heavy Harmonies!

If you notice that a particular Aerosmith and Yungblud CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. As a long time Aero fan and a recent convertee to Yungblud, I was incredibly happy when they announced this EP. Aerosmith had not released any new music in 13 years, so obviously teaming up with one of the most talked about musicians currently is a no brainer. Yungblud gets the rub of teaming with legends, and Aerosmith is back in the public eye and may attract a few new younger fans who were unaware of them. As for the EP itself, the opening track (the first single) is easily the best track on here, but the three other new tracks are all good in their own right, but they kinda switch back and forwards between sounding like Aerosmith tunes then the next sounds like Yungblud, so may not appeal to everyone. The new version of Back in the saddle isn't as good as the original, but I am of a mind that they have used some of the original tracks as Joey Kramer is listed on the liner notes, and he has not worked with the band for years due to a falling out.

IMHO, it's good, not great. It's nice hearing some new music from this legendary band, and Yungblud does well to pay homage.
