Like a half-baked Magnum CD with a few good songs (the bluesy "Stop Me From Loving You" and the Magnum-ish "Different Kind of Love".) My feelings about this release are similar to my opinion on the last Magnum CD "Breath of Life". Listenable, but definitely a long cab ride away from the glory days of "Storyteller's Night" and "Wings of Heaven".

Tony Clarkin's regression into Pub Rock started here and culminated in the absolutely DREADFUL (by TC's immensely high standards) second Hard Rain album. This first one at least has a few decent tracks, but is still only an essential purchase for anyone who wants a complete collection of Magnum related music. 6/10

If you listen to the "last" Magnum album; Rock Art you can see where this came from. You can still hear the relationship with Magnum and it's an OK album but nothing more, buy cheap!

Man, this is hard to listen to. I don't mind 'Perpetual commotion', but not minding that one track doesn't mean I like it and this is certainly an album for those with an aquired taste. My advice would be to avoid this over-the-top attempt at pomp, or AOR or whatever it is. Not for me at all...

La balada "I Must Have Been Blind" es muy gustable.

Huh, well maybe I was one of the only people who "got" this album then. I think it's great. You will perhaps be let down if you are expecting to find a Magnum album as this is a totally different best, but to these ears, this is a really good album.

Just found this today for cheap. I think it is pretty good stuff.
