If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Newman CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Newman are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Nice 34 track double disc featuring re-records of tracks from all the albums so far and a disc of unreleased stuff. The re-records are all great, especially the stuff from the earlier albums that have a much better production. The real interest here though is the 2nd disc. 17 tracks of previously unreleased songs, demos and a couple of acoustic versions. Some real nice songs here and some that are better than some that appeared on the final releases which says something, as all of the Newman discs have been of a pretty damned high standard songwise. Production is great on all of them, quality is high as you would expect and overall for the price of a single disc, this is an excellent compilation of Steve Newman's work so far. Highly recommended.

Yep, Huge compilation, so my rating is really High here. 9.3/10 This one deserves to get it in Original.

What can i say... Newman is simply one of the best of all times simple as that, Great compilation and the second disc is Awesome "Coming Home Tonight, Life After Love, Tell It to My Heart..." what a songs but World Comes Down is for me The AOR Song of the year.

From: Geoff Date: January 18, 2009 at 22:47
Should other bands be embarrassed that Newman's b-sides and "spare" tracks are pretty much better than 95% of all CDs that were released in 2008? Possibly. But this second CD just kicks ass!!! As Jez said, it's better than a few of his CDs, definitely 'Primitive soul'. The first 3 songs are some of the best I've heard from him in a while, but there are soooo many good songs on the second disc. We already know how good all the songs on disc 1 are (and they're f*cking fantastic!) but what a treat these 2 CDs are!

A great place to start if you are new to Newman. Great production and songwriting. Catchy melodic rock stuff here. Well done.

Pleasant as usual...as i have said before,Steve Newman is a "hit maker"...cd 1 newly recorded songs of some of Newman's best tracks and cd 2 unreleased/unfinished/alternative material that will put a smile in your face for sure...a great double pack to have indeed!!!!...100/100
