Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses. The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.
Thank you for supporting Heavy Harmonies!

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Riley's L.A. Guns CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Riley's L.A. Guns are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| This has a completely different line-up to last year's album. What gives? | |

| This is Steve Riley's line up. | |

| Been a fan of the band (all line-ups) since the debut, and despite not having the "signature sound" of Lewis/Guns, Renegades sounds like "L.A. Guns". All the songs are very good to solid, "Crawl" is a standout song and I also really like "Lost Boys", "Witchcraft", "All That You Are" and "Renegades". Production is good, the CD sounds "better" (more full/more depth) than the online clips. Steve Riley has put together a great band with the return of original bassist Nickels, Scott Griffin switching to guitar and new vocalist Kurt Frohlich. Overall a solid, well written and performed hard rock album. | |

| Decent album, but it's not L.A. Guns. The unique Phil Lewis sound is missing. | |

| I imagine the main brunt of the complaints here are due to not having Lewis or Guns and that this might sully the band's legacy (that's been done enough by Guns and Lewis before if you ask me). For me, this is an L.A. Guns album just with a different vocalist as all the trademark sleaze and musicianship is there, while the production is really polished and the sound is practically flawless. The guitars actually remind me a lot of Guns' riffs and solos too. Crawl is a great opener with lyrics that stick with you. Why Ask Why could've easily come straight from Man In The Moon or Waking The Dead. Well Oiled Machine is dripping with innuendo and is probably my favourite off the whole album. Witchcraft is superb from start to finish and also sounds like it's from early 2000s L.A. Gun. There are a couple of tracks that don't appeal to me though: Would is a sort of acoustic ballad that doesn't seem to go anywhere and Lost Boys sounds a bit like a demo with some annoying backing vocals. | |
