| Not gonna lie, I had low expectations for this album as quite often these multi artist collaboration albums can be very hit or miss, and there were only a couple of names on it that I really knew or liked (Michael Starr and Lzzy Hale). I did though take a punt and preordered it direct from Sophies website as the signed copies were not expensive. I was absolutely blown away with just how good this was. After reading an interview with Sophie I learned that the reason it probably worked so well is she wrote the music then sent the intrumental track to the singers for them to write their own lyrics. That way Sophie still had her own sound and wasn't adapting to the other artists style, and the singers were singing something that was specific to them. I would go as far as to say this was possibly my top album of 2023 and I really was not expecting that.
