Summed up in two words...Shit sandwich. This is absolute crap. I would rather eat the ass end out of a dead rhino than have to listen to this. I have never heard more worthless ear garbage. No talent ass clowns.

From: tomcat Date: January 20, 2002 at 16:45
yeah, this is one cool album..i have it and i don't regret buying it..sleaze rock at its best..tomcat@dolfijn.nl

Shit sandwich?!?! ahahaha yeah it's true.....this band played street metal mixed with punk..."suicide louie" and "nickels and dimes" are raw, hard rockin' songs...like Motley Crue meets early Guns n' Roses....but the guitar work is poor....the singer should sing trash metal or something like that....I gave it: 4,5.....there's ain't nothing original in this cd...

where can i download this songs?

From: Kent Dunham Date: April 2, 2003 at 5:03
great record... but sounds like it's missing tracks etc. good rockin' tunes but needs some fire-power... pre-bernard edwards project homicide demo... you can hear where Edwards would eventually go on his self titled debut. too bad they released this way too late to make much of a difference but Edwards was heading in the right direction, especially judging from the early 80's WASP+Slayer+KISS=CORRUPT band... big change but Edwards measures up at anything he does.

The last word I want to hear on this site is Slayer.

i loved sister morphine... minneapolis rock bands rule! miss seeing you around bernardo...

From: Dee Ann Date: March 18, 2004 at 5:56
Sister Morphine was one of the late 80's only good bands left in the Twin Cities... and we have to wait for LA Guns and all them LA bands to come out this way on tour but the SM crew always managed to sleaze it up for us in the meantime... Twin Cities answer to Motley Crue. ...and by the way leave Bernard alone. He's a nice boy and you dudes are just player hating on him. He's hot. Trust me. Too bad they've been defunct since Edwards started his solo (beph) project. Too heavy metal for me but I

Wow! Imagine my suprise when I stumbled upon this link after performing a Google search of my old band! I personally think we fell somewhere in between most of the previous ratings - we weren't great however, we weren't as bad as I imagine a "shit sandwhich" to be (a Spinal Tap reference - how original). At any rate, I've got to search the rest of this site for other obscure bands from days gone by. Thanks for continuing to fly the flag. Peace. Jasper St. John

What are you up to these days Jasper?

From: Andii Vamp Date: September 8, 2004 at 22:38
I didn't like this CD at all. The OTHER Sister Morphine were wayyyy better and a lot more glam/sleaze(With songs like Gypsies, Turn Me Down, No Man's Land etc). I actually picked this CD up many years ago on mail order thinking it was going to be the same band, but was completely dissapointed it wasn't and they were not even in the same league as the other Sister Morphine i mentioned. I wish i could say there was a song on this i liked, but i can't.

From: Geoff Date: September 9, 2004 at 20:06
Agreed Andii - I had this one for a while after thinking it would be a good peice of hard rock when I bought it, but I sold it on ebay a couple of weeks ago. Very average hard rock and I can't pick a good song either...

From: tomcat Date: September 10, 2004 at 12:41
bought the album somewhere in the early 90's and all those bands that are claiming to be gutterglam or whatever , this is gutterglam , sleaze or whatever at its finest...Although the production is maybe a bit too rough, songs like 'city all mine' are full with a 'fuck you' attitude and therefore gladly appreciated by tomcat, glamfan since 1985 and 30 years old and unemployed since yesterday.. Great cd..and nice lyrics...maybe one of my favorite sleaze albums

From: randy Date: December 31, 2004 at 13:50
sister morphine was ok... bernie was a pretty good singer and all. attitude killed this band though. too bad. not great cd but had potential. cheers-

From: lil' bit Date: January 10, 2005 at 3:09
Andii Vamp must be a member of that other "SM" cause he sure likes 'quoting' the same trax on all the other postings on the web... sister morphine from minneapolis / st. paul was the ONLY SISTER MORPHINE worth mentioning. raggs and bernie i love you guys. little bit

From: dokkendude Date: December 3, 2005 at 18:31
sleaze rock with attitude!!!

From: poser disposer Date: March 1, 2006 at 6:40
i usually hate glam bands like seduce but i like these guys they got a real bluesy singer. plus, the singer in this band used to take photos for the early seduce back in detroit and he even designed flying v guitars and basses for them way ahead of his time... his art/logo is also on the debut seduce record... edward or bernard or whatever. bernie saw you play mirage with wasp... you guys were all black leathered out and shit. awesome opening that night i'll never forget. whatever became of sist

From: Metal T Date: October 31, 2008 at 19:33
Pretty solid for what it is-sleazy hard rock/metal.Singer has alota attitude and the music has some balls.'Too Much Too Soon','Citys All Mine','Shoot Her Up' & 'Nickel And Dimes.15' all sound good.A bit reminiscent of 'Sledgehammer Ledge' at times...
