At first listens i must say this is a Good AOR album but i was expected for more on this one, i'm a bit disappointed, I'm not comparing it with the old stuff but i can't find any Killer AOR tracks here, certainly there are good tracks like "Borderlines" "Time"(beutiful "Celtic"-atmospheric ballad) "Say What You Want" "Crackin' Up Baby" and "One More Day". The best here? Terry Brock, his voice is perfect as always...  8/10

| Was really lookin forward to this, but ohhh dear. Opening song and title track 'Perfect world' is a goodie, but the album then goes into boring territory. The production is bloody awful too. If you are expecting a return to form for this band, and hoping for a 'Native sons' od 'Walk in the fire' sounding release then you are gonna be mighty disappointed.

| An interesting and enjoyable blend of the band's two styles on previous albums - I'm a fan of both - but if you're expecting a revival of past glories from Native Sons/Walk on Fire then you'll be disappointed. I hope that the new incarnation is given a chance and goes on to create more albums in their own, different, style. 8.5/10 for me.

First of all i agree with ozzzric13..that's the point..forget the sound that made the band "glorious"..this is more towards what they did without Tony Liddell & Terry Brock(And The Horse,Any Day Now & Gravitational Pull  )..it seems that the only real AORster in the band was(and is)Terry...the other guys seem to be more into the Alternative/Prog style of music...let's be honest..not even with the return of the vocalist that brought the band some stardom,they got rid off that "weird" sound they have adopted ever since..what a shame honestly..unlike Unruly Child's return this is more dissapointing than exciting..anyway "Perfect World" perhaps is the best song of the album,"Movin On" weird sound but quite cool,"Time" is a nice mellow track,"Liberty" good one,"One More Day" nice too,"Can't Let You Go" solid song & "Say What You Want" this one i quite liked it...i think is better that these guys call it a day...Terry's doing it amazingly as a solo artist.85/100

| 3 play throughs and I'll stand by my initial assessment of this, which is, if you like the latter day discs you'll get something from it, if you are expecting the mega days of 'Native Sons' and 'Walking In The Fire' then leave well alone. personally I like about half of this one, 'Perfect World and the rather nice 'One More Day' being my top picks. The rest are a little too laid back, which leaves a very one paced album that doesn't really rise or fall or go anywhere at all to be honest. I have read elsewhere complaining about the production on here, some saying it is appalling and unlistenanble, and whilst the mix is a bit muddy on certain songs, it certainly isn't that bad. This was touted originally as a continuation from 'Walk In The Fire' and that, it has to be said, goes against the trade discriptions act, so I think a majority of people with big expectations of the same are going to be mightily disappointed.

| new release by STRANGEWAYS and i think its a good one!it s production is dark and unclear and the songs have a certain mellow approach ,but after some spins i quite liked it.i also liked the guitar work which has some interesting melodic lines.fav songs are "perfect world"/ "movin on" and "crackin up baby".not bad

| Must admit I don't know all their previous releases by heart. When that's said: this must be one the last 10 years best comebacks (Terry Brock) Borderlines, Time, Crackin' Up Baby, Bushfire! And so on imo. And WHAT a show they put on Firefest 2010. Thanks guys! You rock big time.

| Of all the Strangeways releases this is the worst! I was anticipating a great come back release, but only to be disapointmented. After so many great releases why put something like this out? anyone want to buy it? 4/10

| I actually quite like this one. It certainly has not the exceptional quality of "Native Sons" and "Walk In The Fire", it's much more laid-back and moody, and yes, there are some things to be said about the rather patchy production, but the song writing and quality are there, maybe it needs a few spins, but lovers of quality rock will appreciate this piece of fine musicianship.

| I was head over heels the "Walk in the fire" album the first time I heard it, I also like Native song but can't stand this. Just turned it off after 40 minutes of listening misery:/ Nevertheless, Terry on his solo album KICKS ASS! DIAMOND BLUE!

| I've been listening to this one today, I kinda like it. Not their best, but IMO, worth a few spins....especially if in a mellow mood.
