Good stuff but this one doesn't compare to their two previous releases. The overall "feel" and sound of this one just can't measure up to the quality established earlier. Still worth a listen, and pretty enjoyable for the most part.

From: Jennifer Date: May 15, 2001 at 18:12
Tends to sound "grainy" after a few minutes. The songs are good, but production lacks. This one's average.

From: RockDude Date: May 29, 2001 at 15:23
Not bad-it has it's moments, but after a few listens it gets stale.

From: Mike Graham Date: August 5, 2001 at 13:39
It's not as good as their first two albums, but there are some good songs on this one. Shearman sounded great, and the best song is "I'll Set You On Fire." Enjoyable stuff overall.

i must have missed something on the first two, because to me they don't compare at all to the classic hard rock displayed here. the first two releases were just lame and bland, and this came like a bolt from the blue---the only highlight of the previous two lp's was the zep immigrant song riff ripoff "sail on sail away"---this lp just kills, i put it in the same category of the first montrose album-----this just rules!!!

From: Beevuss Date: September 16, 2002 at 20:07
Pretty good but not as good as the first two albums.

From: G.T. Walsh Date: December 31, 2003 at 11:07
Some great stuff here for sure--"Set You ON Fire" is probably the best track. Production was much better on their other recordings, but the songwriting and performances on this one are just as good.
