Realy a great allbum

From: PR Date: August 2, 2002 at 6:10
This is a brilliant album. Heavy guitars yet melodic and full of catchy choruses. Comparable to early Harem Scarem and Out of the Silence era Dare. Saviour of a Broken Heart has the kind of chorus that sticks in your head for days. Great musicianship all round and excellent vocals from Matt Mitchell. The production is crystal clear as well. It would be great to see these guys with Thunder, Dare and reform FM for a best of British tour. A new album is due out soon, hope it's as good as this.

From: koogles Date: October 26, 2002 at 14:08
Bit of White Lion in the mix too. Good call, PR, but production isn't THAT good. Some killer tunes though- "Saviour of a Broken Heart", "Hold On" and especially "Hands of a Healer" leading the way.

What a brilliant album. Love it. Heavy guitars but always catchy.Saviour of a broken heart and lots more songs are really awesome. Very good vocals. Have the latest release( 2003) also. Again a great album. Excellent band all in all.

One of the finest British bands ever.I like this cd and their latest one 'signs of purity'.Both cds are well produced, melodic, energetic and are a great addition to your cd collection.

From: rocketron Date: June 17, 2004 at 9:00
I submitted "Signs Of Purity" some time ago.The last track "Still Raining" is a monster and the album as a whole is a good follow-up to this debut.

From: TJ Date: June 17, 2004 at 17:04
WHAT CAN I SAY THAT HASNT ALL BEEN SAID BEFORE! ITS AN AWESOME PIECE OF MELODIC BRILLIANCE. LOVE MATTS VOICE. THE NEW ALBUM IS JUST AS GOOD AS THIS ONE! CHEERS

From: Rycheage Date: July 22, 2004 at 22:46
Classy AOR in the vein of Jaded Heart, especially the vocals, is the order here. "Saviour Of A Broken Heart", "Hands Of A Healer" and "Hold On" are cutting edge AOR of the highest order. I agree with PR about the musicianship and the production is crystal clear. Highly recommended for fans of Jaded Heart, early Harem Scarem and early Bon Jovi.

From: Rik Date: August 10, 2004 at 6:46
Its all been said before. Truly an album you should have. Perfect vocals. And an overwhelming energy this bands displays on cd. Would love to see/hear them live. erikhardam@hetnet.nl

Las mejores: SAVIOUR ..., HARD TO FIND..., IF IT AIN'T LOVE, COMING ROUND AGAIN, etc.

From: Geoff Date: December 5, 2004 at 20:32
Whoops! Here they are. IMO, this is one of the best debuts in recent years up there with Raine and Stun Leer. The vocals are amazing, the guitars some of the best in the genre, and the songs brilliant. A real complete CD. 'Saviour of a broken heart' and the amazing 'Best of me' are two of my faves - melodic heaven. But overall, not a filler in sight and truly one of the best albums in recent years.

From: ToniGirona Date: February 17, 2005 at 13:14

From: Teer Date: June 18, 2005 at 7:25
Britain at its very very best. What an overwhelmingly good album. The songs, the singing, guitars. Yeah i have to say its all as brilliant. What an enormous potential this band has. I cant pick it out a song that stands out. As to me they are all great. But "Best of me"is an absolute gem of a song ( semi ballad with an infectious chorus and rythm to it). Sheer perfection. If this band doesnot go all they way.... 9,5/10

From: Erik Date: November 29, 2005 at 13:02
Sensational band IMO. Like Teer my favorite song is 'Best of me'. Now comes the bad news. This band is no longer. Can you believe it ?? What a bloody shame. Enormously talented bands like this fade away or even disband but "rockbands"like Aerosmith or Bonjovi ( altho their last record is descent but still far from spectacular) can still release one shitty record after another. but names do still sell...

From: Carlos A. Date: December 5, 2006 at 11:19

GREATEST CD EVER!!! AWESOME VOICE..GUITARS...DRUMS...JUST PERFECT!!

From: lalorock Date: February 11, 2007 at 16:19

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 30, 2007 at 14:32

From: kipvanpearcy Date: September 11, 2007 at 20:41
Very good, some awesome songs on this one.

From: RockMan10 Date: May 24, 2008 at 2:21
It is a shame this band is no longer. This is one of those CD's, like Saints and Sinners, that just came along and kicked my ass. The second disc was a tad bit behind in overall quality but had the better of the best songs. I LOVED this disc and still play it often. 95/100

From: rbrigade Date: April 24, 2009 at 20:16
This is everything that bores me about new AOR bands. Absolutely no soul, average productions, uninteresting songs. Every song sounds the same. I laugh my ass off when reading comparisons to Firehouse, Saints and Sinners, Thunder...These bands are HARD ROCK bands and they rock really LOUD, unlike Pride...

From: z4roxx Date: April 26, 2009 at 12:02
Oh....this one is great!!!

From: erik Date: April 26, 2009 at 12:31
Yep absolutely great disc indeed. 90/100 Easily

From: Axe Slinger Date: April 26, 2009 at 16:15
Yeah, I'm thinking RB has this confused with another band named Pride. This is a great listen and rocks plenty. Listen to the solo from "This Time" and you'll think you were back to 1985. Great disc.

From: erik Date: June 8, 2009 at 15:16
Phenomenal voice. 95/100

From: rick kerch vzla Date: September 29, 2010 at 22:28
Agree with the good comments above ...really a great release..."This Time" is a perfect starter,"Saviour Of A Broken Heart" is a nice AOR one,"If It Ain't Love" nice ballad,"Hands Of A Healer" catchy,"Best Of Me" another nice one,"Who You Gonna Love" catchy & "Saintly Lies" is a killer ballad and the best track off the album at least for me ...a pleasant album 2 have 4 sure!!!.88/100

From: 123charpenay Date: July 25, 2013 at 13:10
nevertheless two weak points in general this record is a little slow and the production is very average.

From: Roxas Date: April 8, 2022 at 14:21
Only just got this 20 odd years later, it's superb. Really enjoying every track.
