| Here's an album that really grows on you. Very well produced, fresh, melodic material that I constantly find myself singing bits and pieces of. Most of all the haunting Where Is Daniel - a magnificent, heartfelt ballad if ever there was one. Why Cry and Corridor of Windows also monopolise a lot of my shower routine these days. Check it out, you might be pleasantly surprised.

| A good release, but not amazing. Something that I don´t understand is that the singer has an incredibly good voice in "Hello Heaven", but in the other songs he´s simply right.

| One of so many great release I've nearly forgotten about, but now it is at number 2 in the top 25, I have to say something about this fabulous great pomp record. Yes, not the traditional pomp from the seventies, but a nineties version and it's good, very good even ! To all AOR (it's also mixed with a lot of AOR tunes) and pomp fans : BUY !!!!!

| Another fine example of modern pomprock, and good it is ! I'm only afraid it's another one shot affair, and that we'll never hear from these talented act again. Anyway, if you like a mix of pomp and AOR, this record is for you. Check it out !

| white liar is a killer tune, where and how did this linquist devour and consolidate this pictoral relevation of descriptive torment and put this act to music. Unbelievable!!

| Daniel is a very sentimental ballad, great stuff. The Cd in general is the perfect POMP/AOr record. Great tunes all around. Fantastic production. Awesome.

| Excelente disco, Why Cry y Never son los mejores temas pero sin demeritar a los demas, un AOR bastante fino con muy buen trabajo de guitarras, no duden en comprarlo. Saludos desde México.

| Another really good MTM release in 2000 (similar to the Kharma album) in the pomp vein of bands like Prophet and Kansas. Big production, layers of keys, and a few really killer tracks. "In Your Arms" and "Why Cry" are magnificent AOR gems. A few of the other tracks are a little progressive for my tastes and lack the punchy choruses, and the vocalist has a rather annoying operatic style. But for the current low price this can be found for, it's a bargain. 7.5/10.

| There are certainly fillers on this one, but my word do the gems overpower that! 'Why cry' is one of the catchiest melodic gems ever, 'Hello heaven' is superb, 'In your arms' is excellent, as is 'She Sherea' and 'White liar'. The rest are patchy at best, but the strong tracks make this a great CD!

| Sorry guys , but i found this very boring when i first got it, then didn't play it for ages so i thought i would give it another go the other day but the result is still the same!!!!Thats just my opinion so don't line me up in front of the firing squad over it!!!!!!

| A forgotten gem from the MTM roster, which is a travesty as this is, in places AOR/Pomp perfection.The first half (1-7) is pretty unbeatable and features the majority of the best tracks. It does die a little towards the end, and the production is a little thin on a few tracks, hence why it doesn't quite reach the maximum and definately why it isn't the best Pomp/AOR album ever. Nevertheless,Anyone searching for a large amount of class could do a lot worse than hunt this little beauty down!!.

| been on a 2nd hand sale with a friend. saw the storyteller cd and asked my friend about that one. he said it´s not the best. but i bought it. heard the first tunes and was blown away. this is killer melodic rock with pomp influences. brilliant from start to finish. an absolute must!! 9/10

| Gran disco de AOR convenientemente POMPerizados. Bien producido, buena voz y ningún relleno pero si que hay temas y temazos, "She Sherea" "Why Cry" son joyitas del AOR! "Hello Heaven", "Corridor of Windows" y "White Liar" no se pueden dejar de mencionar Temazos!. Al escuchar las partes mas Pomp se ve viene a la memoria Valentine(Robbie) y en temas como "She Sherea" y "Never" a The Outfield. Bien variadito y recomendable. 8.5/10

| Didn't like this apart from tracks 3 and 6. Very, very soft pompish AOR, which wouldn't necessarily be a problem, but I think the songwriting is poor. Ten tracks that I will never play again.

| AOR band with some Prog influences ("Corridor Of Windows" is the best example)..the album opens with a very good number "What She Wants" then come a song that i really liked "In Your Arms" and next a wonderful track "Hello Heaven"..then tracks 4,8 and 11 were another songs which i could say favourites..."Like It Or Not" was very interesting because the changes of tempos in the song and "White Liar" closes the album with dignity...if u like bands that mix AOR with some certain Prog elements then Storyteller is a good option (Asia and Styx fans might enjoy listening 2 this)...93/100

| Good CD, but nobody mentioned the best track on it: WAIT TILL YOU FIND ME. This is wonderful, the rest is ok, not more. Still like my Artwork.

| i see here the mix of an old demos and new stuff. eight old song taken from their 1991 demos - what she wants, why cry, hello heaven, never (originally named "never's not the way"), she sherea, wait 'till you find me, privatre eye, white liar.. and one old song included at japanese release as bonus track, this is "she always smile". sorry.. but where others cool song from their demos? I Could Just Die, The Calling.

| the production of this record is not extraordinary.musically storyteller deliver prog/pomp/aor music in the vein of asia(track 1) or artica for example.even if storyteller plays a smart music,this album don t hooked me cause i m not very sensible to this kind of melodicrock.track 9 "never" is the best song of the cd ,this song outclass the others.track 13 the japan bonus track,is a rocking song.it s a bad song ,a filler.nevertheless the japan import is very very rare and very expensive.

| very good release for STORYTELLER through MTM records a bit late as the band was on at the late 80s in Hollywood but didnt got signed .hard rock music with much keys, great singer and some good songs but just not great !"what she wants","why cry" ,"in your arms" and "private eye" are fine songs and overall a band that could be something more
