If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Pangea CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Pangea are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

More than a decade to release a new album? Why Torben? well, this is a classic Pangea sound but i expected more from this. Yeah, hooks still are there, the Extreme sound is their label here, some good solos but i was waiting for something better. "2 AM" "Shot" and "Hold Your Fire" are my favorite tracks. At first listens 8/10

I gave a few spins and i can say that I prefer "Manchild" and "The First" album than this effort.

Yeah, this one doesn't quite match the other two. This is an amazingly talented band, and I guess you have to respect that if they want to follow the Extreme-style route, it's their call. But on past albums, and also on this disc, they show that when they get melodic it's pretty special. 'Shot' and '2AM' (the 2 most melodic songs on the CD) are a wonderful showcase for how awesome this band can be. Elsewhere, the hard rocking 'Little by little' was good, and both 'House Of Love' and 'Hold Your Fire' are strong hard rock tunes too. There are a few weak tracks amongst the rest, but overall it's close to what you'd expect from Pangea. I just wish they'd explore the more melodic side of their style a bit more...

Thanks a lot for your interest and your comments. Juan Carlos, to answer your question on why, there's a brief description on Lion Music's website, http://www.lionmusic.com/cd/retrospectacular.htm , and the bio on our Facebook profile will also bee updated with even more details as time allows for writing on it. And thanks for your kind rating despite the mentioned drawbacks. :-) And to you both: Some of the softer and more melodic songs that was on the original master was left out because we felt that the harder stuff was the strongest material so we let go of the softer and more melodic. But the plan is to release (some of) these songs still. And since they haven't been mixed again they'll be released in their original mixes accompanied by video or slideshows. Check out our YouTube channel for new uploads: http://www.youtube.com/user/TorbenLysholm And the band profile Facebook for news: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pangea/121656997872201?ref=sgm Kind regards, Torben Lysholm

For me this album rocks as good as drinking some great 18 year old whiskey!!!..highly recommended stuff...and this is my first Pangea album (i wonder how the other ones are )...i was goin' to go song by song but what for?...most of the songs are top notch!!!...1,2,3,5,6(excellent AOR),8,10(another excellent AOR) are the tracks that make this album essential...great voice courtesy of Mr Torben Lysholm and a wonderful musicianship among them all...97/100.
