A very 'professional' album, but it lacks a certain fire and "soul." It's not to say that the songs aren't competent or that Paul Jackson isn't a good lead guitar player -- the problem is that the band doesn't really have an identity without David Zaffiro's playing. I do drag the album out every now and then for a listen, but it goes back fairly quickly afterwards. "New Age Illusion" is a pretty good song, though. (6 out of 10) |

This is a ROCKIN' album. You've got some of the best songs. This whole album is awesome. We need more albums like this. |

Gotta disagree with the Steve F. review above. "Out of the Darkness" is a stellar CD, and one of Bloodgood's personal best. The song "Top of the Mountain" is one of my favorite songs by any band. The title track is an incredible metal song, and "Changing Me," is excellent as well. Lacks emotion? Maybe this song isn't on his CD. http://www.nolifetilmetal.com/bloodgood.htm |

I think this is the album a buddy of mine played a few years ago. Pretty solid material from what I remember. I know he said Paul Jackson was the guitarist and these songs look familiar so I'm sure this is it. |

A good album, but I think it fell a bit short compared to the first 3 albums. |

This is okay. Still hadn't hooked me here. For the complete story, I actually heard their 'Out of the darkness' CD first, liked it a lot and seeked the rest of their stuff, but I'm not a huge fan overall. This is decent hard rock, but not great IMO. |

Whoops - It was the 'All stand together' CD I heard first... |

Con más sabor a Melodic Metal que su anterior placa, éste me gusta más. Temas rápidos como "Out of the Darkness", "America" y las rifferas "Let My People Go" "Hey! You" "New Age Illusion" los mejores, Hey! pero los temazos a no dudarlo son "Top of the Mountain" y "Changin Me" y son los temas mas largos por coincidencia. Los solos son mucho mejores comparado a su anterior disco IMO. 8.7/10 |

the follow up to the essential "rock in a hard place".it s a great suite to their previous effort.not at the same level but nevertheless great.they play more hard, this record have not the charm and the class than "rock in a hard place" but this cd stay a great christian hard rock record;and all the christian rock realise, a raritie. |
