The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Grand Prix CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Decent AOR, not exceptional or so. I think Samurai is still their best work. This is certainly not bad at all. For the AOR freaks !

I agree with the AOR freaky, only "Tough of the track" is outstanding.

Have always rated this band - loved the debut album, and this was a worthy follow up. A little dated now, but if early 80's Brit AOR/Pomp is your thing you won't go far wrong.

My personal fave of the 3 albums they released. Agreed "Tough On The Track" is excellent but so to is "Keep On Believin", "Taking a Chance" and "Relay". This is Mcauley's best performance by far IMO. Definately one for connesseurs

I also think this was their best album.McAuley never sounded so good. All songs are excellent but my favourite has to be "Paradise".

Not quite Samurai but still awesome. Not released in 2000 as your page suggests, I ahd the vinyl in 1984 and I think it came our before Samurai. The band were excellent supporting Iron Maiden on the Piece of Mind tour and Bruce took time to praise them after Maiden's first song.

A good album, not excellent but you can enjoy listening to. I've a note to do ... the album has been released in 1982.

Fantastic last album known by Grand Prix!!!...Robin Mcauley's singing wonderfully, injecting its own personal way of vocalizing...the whole album is pretty worth but i'd go for these beauties:"Keep On Believing" and "Runaway" as my faves plus tracks 1,2,3( ),4(nice)& 9...recommended...89/100

very good album for GRAND PRIX based on music written by Phil Lanzon and a fine voc performance by Robin Mc Auley offering straight rock pomp music with strong key lines!the songs are ok but not anything special even though the quality is there!good stuff, just not great
