Es tal vez despues de black sabbath y deep purple una de las mejores bandas de hard rock en la historia. |

A lame duck disguised as a small bird. Once you get past the nifty Roger Dean covers and the quirky song titles, there's nothing to Budgie but hollow riffs and poor production. "Breadfan" is okay, but this CD doesn't have it. (Nor does Budgie for that matter.) The most over-rated under-rated band ever. |

Take a plain-looking woman with good humor and strong sex drive. Some folks never get past the plain looks and never find out about the good stuff. Budgie is kind of like that. They never quite got the whole package together, but there are some marvelous bits and pieces. More heart than most HM bands - depth of thought in songwriting - not just cockrock or devil worship crap (witness "Parents" - any other band ever write a song PRAISING their folks for trying hard to raise them correctly?) |

"Impeckable" & "best of" are great! These guys need to be documented...too important a part of modern music. They've been covered! The originals are more important. |
