If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Iconic CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Iconic are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

(Somewhat deserved) cynicism surrounds any project group that Frontiers releases these days. In tge case of Iconic, this is unfortunate. What we have here is some of the best Whitesnake-style bluesy hard rock that we have heard in recent years, and that includes Whitesnake itself! So, if you like Whitesnake at their best, you are gonna love this band. I enjoy this album so much I am hoping it is not a one-and-done outing. Did I mention that sound like a superior Whitesnake? Grade A.

I gotta follow up to rave a bit more about this one. I have played it 4 times now and I normally would put it away out of my rotation of discs but I just couldn't do it. It is that good. The trading harmonies of James and Sweet, the dueling guitars of Hoekstra and Sweet, the utter professional and groovy rhythm of Mendoza and Aldridge. This is a special album. I hope more people hear it.

Ok ok, another Frontiers project... Well in this case it's worth the buy. Hard rock bluesy a la Whitesnake with hints of good energy and massive riffs... And Joel Hoekstra ! This guy is a machine. His work on guitar is always fantastic.

Yes yes, ... very good album with brilliant musicians that we all love, I guess. Can anybody explain how the hell Allessandro D.V has been involved in this band playing keyboards? Can't such a star band enroll a real keyboard player who's not the boss and owner of a record company ?

I think it must be part of the standard Frontiers contract, that Alessandro gets to inject himself into every pick-up band of has-beens and hired-guns. He's like the owner of a football team who can't stop meddling in the day-to-day operations (Dan Snyder, Jerry Jones).

True about that, but thankfully keyboards are his main contribution here and he doesn't dominate the sound. The keyboards accentuate but are very much behind the guitars. The way it should be.
