Absolutely brilliant. John Waite as I'm sure I've sadi before can do no wrong. The Hard Way is a killer new song and has John right back on track after dipping his toes in a more MOR / country tinged couple of albums (which were still good though). The other tracks are from his previous album 'Figure in a Landscape' but sound like they have more of a kick...or maybe a better running order???? I dunno they certainly seem to have more of a spark. Have they been remixed or rerecorded maybe?? A+++ |

Spot on Nick - This does sound better than 'Figure In A Landscape' - don't know if the tracks are re-recorded, but definately remixed. The new track is excellent as you say, but it would have been nice to have had a few more added, as this is way too short at 34 mins. Nevertheless quality over quantity I suppose and this guy is quality all the way. |

Oh boy, this is a 'easy and quickly making money' CD ! Hell, this guy has one of the greates voices on the planet (see Babys, Bad English etc.), but all he offers us the last years is rather boring, lame stuff ! It hurts me to say : this is bad, practically no new songs and a running time of only 34 minutes on a CD ! Shame on you, John ! Such a talent ! We need another brilliant AOR record, mate ! You can deliver it, if you want, but this is BORING ! AVOID ! |
