If you like ballads, get this! It doesn't get much better than this. Unforgettable |

A beautiful album from an excellent vocalist in his prime. Brilliantly performed with pure emotion on top of some of his finest song writing. Very laid back but fantastic. 9.5/10 |

I totaly agree with "cruise" above. I can't even think of words to describe this, is just pure beauty. No wonder this one is going to appeal most to westcoast listeners, but also to anyone with a heart. Amazing! 300 out of 10 |

In my opinion this is his best solo album EVER |

This is a superb album, and is packed full of fantastic ballads. If the words contained in some of these songs don't move you then you must have no soul at all. More is unbelieveable as is Glittering Prize. Just incredible!!! The number of times me and my old mate Spooner have come back from the pub and chilled out listening to this feeling sorry for ourselves and getting all melancholy...haha! I can't praise this album enough! Criminally ignored release, didn't help that the label went bump! |

Yep! i agree with cruise, Beautiful album for Laid Back AOR lovers. I listened the entire album in a Radio Station in 1995. "How Did I Get By Without You" Great opener, "Someone Like You" Beautiful ballad, "Price of My Tears" maybe my favourite track, Killer song but hey! "The Glittering Prize" and "In God's Shadow" are Great tracks as well!. Super-Recommended. 9/10 |
