Great pop AOR from a great vocalist. This is the last of his solo efforts that i would call AOR and this is a fine effort to bow out of the genre. 7.5/10

Pre-Bad English, this is a fine release from a great singer. If you like polished AOR then this is a treat. 8/10

fantastic release by the mighty JOHN WAITE ,probably his best solo.very polished production by frank fillipetti,valuable help by dianne warren and desmonf child and there you go:a release full of mega hits like "don t loose any sleep","these times are hard for lovers","act of love","wild one".87 was a great year

AOR masterpiece.a bit of pop influence,but a top album for lovers of mid 80s classy sound.the opener,written by desmond child is a smash opener.essential
