Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

The man with the golden voice ! Especially with Bad English and The Babys he has made brilliant records, but his own records are also good, except his latest outings, which are far too laid back ! But, all in all, a great artist. A pity he seems to be lost for the AOR fans these days ! |

surely not one of his best works but it contains his biggest hit "missing you".a magic song that went no1 to the states and gave him success that he deserved much earlier.other remarkable songs are "dark side of the sun","tears" ans "restless heart".decent |

John Waite has such a great voice. This album is brilliant. It takes you back to the 80's. |

Pretty solid AOR release, "Tears" was originally released for the Peter Criss solo album "Let Me Rock You", that version is fine but Waite's version is undoubtedly the best of the bunch. |
