2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update
Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're
at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars
have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs
are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses.
The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the
year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and
keeps the lights on.

| I wasn't that excited when this release was announced. Part of it was a knee-jerk reaction to the band name, a la "I lost the lawsuit but here's my inferior record." But man, this is fuckin' great! And I enjoyed Jizzy's solo albums of the 2000's, so it shouldn't have come as a surprise. Hell, CA isn't as quirky as ghlackout In The Red Room or Wasted In America, as the songs are pretty straightforward. But tracks like "Gonna Take You Higher," "Soul Mama," "Last Chance," "Bruised And Battered," and "Wanna Be Somebody" are some of the best from any band of the era in the 21st century.
