Only weak point is the title track, which sounds like something Bon Jovi would've done at their cheesiest. Welcome To My Hollywood and Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark are both outstanding tracks, while Ball Of Confusion and Victory are impressive in their own right. Barden's one studio kick at the can is well worth owning. |

Decent melodic hard rock played by veterans of the NWOBHM scene. The only problem is that, this is decent, not much stands out, but nothing is too bad either. 5/10 |

Another band that had a big hype about them so i got this album.......verdict.........CRAP!!!!!!!! Is this their worst album???? Do they have any good ones???? Honestly!!!! |

This isnt'a cd of 10/10 and not a 5/10,just 8.5/10 is its righter rate IMO.Some song is an hit,some is decent,but totally this is another great Praying Mantis chapter..... |

A fine AOR/Melodic Rock album!!!..a band that is usually known as a reference of the NWOBHM movement..."Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark","Bring On The Night","Welcome To My Hollywood"(nice song with a good chorus),"To The Power Of Ten"(rocking track with a good chorus) & "Victory"(best song in here!)...good band,good album,good songs...what else can you ask for???.94/100 |

very good release by PRAYING MANTIS back in 95!faithful to their classic hard rock sound and very well performed music with nice musicianship and songwriting!Gary John Barden sounds good as always and i think that this style suits the band very much!"to the power of ten"is one of their best ever songs and "night &day","little angel"are fine songs!good stuff here! |
