Their best album ever and one of my desert island albums!

Awesome album.Flaming Telepaths being one of the greatest hard rock/metal songs ever

third album of boc takes us into deep space exploration.this is MASTER-PIECE by all standars of popular music.rhythm section dances so powerful and guitars strikes so intesivly.but the voice interpretation is so cruel and nasty here.and so mellow and soft same time.fantastic.

This was more dark and sinister than anything Alice Cooper was doing at the time. Somehow, he became the "prince of darkness". Go figure. I love this CD for many reasons. 1. They really don't make em like this anymore. 2. The subject matter is so original and complex that I still discover new things every time I listen to it. 3. It hasn't suffered from classic rock syndrome and all the over-playing that goes along with it. The ultimate space rock CD!

One of Hard Rock's TRUE timeless classics, a masterpiece from every point of view. I just love Buck's soloism... listen to the solo in "Subhuman"!! Then "Astronomy", "Flaming Telepaths", "Dominance and Submission"... this is a real must have for every rocker out there, no doubt about it.

Long considered their best album by the critics. Personally, its not my favorite BOC disc(AGENTS OF FORTUNE is). But there's no denying the greatness of this album. Saw them in concert last summer and they performed about half of the songs from this! It just goes to show that the true "classic rock" isn't the stuff being played on the radio.

This album is only eclipsed by Tyranny and Mutation. A superb metal album with Buck ripping the guitar to pieces.

From: Kimbo Date: December 12, 2003 at 2:23
Dominance and Submission is the best song on this album. Listen to lead break about 3 or 4 minutes in. Classic.

From: Propane Date: December 3, 2004 at 23:26
Sometimes BOC can wander just a bit but they certainly could get away with it because they did it right. That also proves true for this one as well. Excellent disc from bottom to top.

Gotta love and have it. Not just because BÖC´s one of my fav bands. To agree with koogles: it´s never boring, you can keep on exploring all the time. Fascinating lyrics: ..."see me in the blue sky bag"..."clock strikes twelve and moondrops burst out at you from their hiding place". Unique !

From: Adam Blackheart Date: February 26, 2006 at 12:48
Masterpiece. This was more than anyone could foresee. Music - out of this world, lyrisc - gloomy but ironic... They were more original band than Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd or any other band... Absolutely perfect album.

A nice album with simple rock compositions IMHO,nothing to jump outta bed, let's be honest...i love B.O.C. and i've even seen them live in late 80's but this release is just a decent one,as i said, with some simple compositions(they have released better ones than this)...cuts 1,3,4,7(fave?)& 8 are fine with me...70/100
