The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Blue Oyster Cult CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Blue Oyster Cult are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

In 2020, before the release of "The symbol remains" the band released several live albums covering the last 6/7 years of they career, celebrating various anniversaries. This one has them playing the whole of the first album and it might be the best of these recent live releases: sure, the Bouchard brothers are missing and Bloom's voice is getting thinner and more fragile with the passing of time but the magic of hearing great tunes very rarely if ever played live is priceless: "Screams", "She's as beautiful as a foot", "Before the kiss" can still cast a magic spell on me. And with Richie Castellano they found a very stable asset, as he's a great guitarist, singer, keyboardist: listen to the glorious jam during "Last days of May" for proof! (Just one thing: what's this thing of Richie breaking guitar strings during solos?) Buck Dharma of course is one of the best and more melodic soloist of his generations and still plays great. Recommended.
