OK. Where to start with this one. I have played this to death over the last few weeks, and am still having a few problems with it. I loved the debut, but this is a different beast, alot darker, less immediate and if truth be told, dissapointing. The production is average (as with the debut) and the songs are more progressively orientated (not a problem with me usually as i love all things Proggy). Put this up against other releases that Mangold, Brock have released - now see what i mean!!!!. |

Unfortunely, I´m with Jez for this one. I also love the debut, and was expecting something even better, but all that I hear is 2 or 3 good songs and a flawless production, uninspired vocals by Terry, disappointing compositions by Mangold and lots of styles, from prog to pop, including a terrible song called Shine, a country-pop crap. 3/10 |

The worst CD of 2004, and that's factoring in the atrocious House of Bores (The Power and the Myth) and other junk. Tuneless and awkward, more than just a waste of money... a waste of talent and potential as well. |

I wouldn't go that far as our friend koogles, but the guys above here are right. Mark Mangold is one of my 'heroes' and 99% of what the man releases is Quality with a capital Q, but this is so disappointing. No catchy songs, an average production and with a vocalist as Terry, you can do so much more than a bit screaming. No, how much I appreciate talents as mr.Mangold and Terry Brock, I can't recommend this one ! Sad but true ! |

I think the right title should be"the awful coming".Too bad for my tastes, not a single remarkable arrangement or refrain.Terry Brock is brok-en,Mark Mangold without any idea......1/10. |

I do have Howe II,do you want it?I think both are shitty releases…10 steps back for the Sign,IMO. |

As much as I like the first album, I think this one is a joke. Bad songwriting and production and poor performances. Avoid. |

Think that Mark wanted to do some mixture of prog rock, hard rock & AOR. In one moment we can hear a little bit Pomp vibes, too....I dunno, I bought this CD. Maybe, one day I'LL love it, 'cause I love when bands do prog/AOR arrangements. |

I got the version sent to me that Mark Mangold wanted to release, and it's MUCH better than this. This might be the worst produced cd from Frontiers ever, Mark's version are way different. |
