Sounds somewhat Leppard-esque, especially on some of the choruses (check out "Words Come So Easy" and "If I Could Only See You Now"). Pretty cool overall.

This disc is unbelievable - so great to hear melodic rock like this!

Agree with u Mark...def. has that DL sound to it....but in a good way...not like their last 3 or 4 pieces of think that an album like this could be made in 2000 is amazing....heres one guy who didnt sell out and make a lame ass record...quote the widomakr....never more

From: PR Date: June 18, 2002 at 6:59
If you like classic Def Leppard and Blue Tears you MUST get this CD. Awesome guitar work and backing vocals. Not a duff track on it. This sounds more like Def Leppard than BB Steal does. In fact, it sounds more like Def Leppard than Def Leppard do anymore!! Melodic hard rock will live on with albums like this being made.

Ya que no esta puesto, recomendaros su primer disco de 1987 "Desperate Business",que es un pasote AOR cañero-melódico,con grandisima producción,¿Este?Temas aceptables y mediocre producción.

From: Great Dane Date: December 30, 2002 at 10:37
Just got this cd from a sale. Its really good. Highly recommendable.

From: ARXONTAS Date: February 19, 2003 at 9:32
Can anyone avoid an album with similar sound to Def Leppard(early stuff),Blue Tears and Big Bad Wolf?I Dont think so.Vocals in the Joe Elliot style, backing vocals like Adrenalize and great guitar work by Reb Beach. The production could be better but if you like the Blue Tears production than you ll not have any problem.Οverall an album with catchy tunes, great lyrics injected with strong A.O.R influences and the most important,NO FILLERS.Stop reading and start running to the nearest store!

Good record, very much à la Leppard and not that original ! But worth a listen, no doubt about that !

From: metalhead Date: February 1, 2004 at 4:40

Brian McDonald has crafted some melodic rock gems. There is a strong Def Leppard influence in the sound, but you can also add in a little Chicago, Blue Tears and Autograph. From rockers such as 'Wind It Up' and 'Amnesty' to atmospheric ballads like 'The Night Heaven Falls Down' and 'The Hope One Child Can Bring' we are treated to track upon track of brilliance.

Where is the fantastic Voyage album from last year? C´mon Dan, time to put it up here.

From: TIM (2) Date: July 2, 2004 at 14:01
His third album "Voyage" was a bit more progressive sounding, but still killer. This is fabulous, but utterly spoilt by the abysmal mixing which combined all the instruments and vocals into one big mess of a sound. Great stuff, with barely a filler. "Amnesty" sounds like Winger, "Dont Wanna Want your Touch" is Def Leppard, so not much originality, but who cares with music this good.

From: Max Date: September 8, 2004 at 15:36
Yes Tim, I agree with you in the mixing of the album. Are you a sound engineer or producer by any chance?

From: Geoff Date: January 5, 2005 at 0:06
Some stunning musical peices and hooks, pre-choruses and so on (eg. 'If I could only see you now') but unforunately for me a lot of the choruses fail. Still, this makes for a good listen as it's very well played and sounds excellent. Just not a huge fan of all the songs...

From: Erik Date: January 5, 2005 at 7:41
Best song " Words come so easy " . Ok release.

From: Missing the 70's Date: November 18, 2005 at 23:29
Great record. One of the best overall disc that I had heard for a very long time.

From: Axe-Machine Date: May 7, 2006 at 10:13
Amazing to think that an album such as this can be made in this day and age. Winger meets Def Leppard in the extreme and features the amazing title track 'Wind It Up', 'Head Back Home' and 'Amnesty'. One of the best records released since the turn of the century. Excellent. 9/10.

From: juan carlos Date: November 2, 2006 at 17:54

From: juan carlos Date: November 2, 2006 at 17:58
... o es que Brian intentó hacer algo asi como unos Def Leppard progresivos en este album??.. Habrá que averiguar.. De todas formas no he escuchado algo como esto en muchos años. bueno. 8/10

From: z4roxx Date: November 7, 2006 at 13:05
This a B.McDonald cd or a Winger cd???If the Reb Beach’s presence can make this is better to not call some musichan I think. This a great ipermelodick cd but I prefer his previous style if that’s the result.BTW this one is an awesome example of great melodick pomp/aor music.

From: metalmastermusic Date: July 7, 2008 at 7:57
I'm torn on this one is it Def Leppard or is it Chicago/Journey/Peter Cetera rolled into one ? Great AOR album chock full of synth. It is AOR for sure so don't expect a Def Leppard hard sound. It actually reminds me a bit of Aldo Nova for some reason. Anyway this is an excellent AOR album. 89/100

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 18, 2011 at 21:35
Good album with good guest musicians ...Brian's voice is very influenced by Joe Elliot and musically talking has a lot of the band from Sheffield, cuts for me are "Wind It Up","Head Back Home"(nice),"Words Come So Easy","The Rhythm Of Money"(rocks),"If I Could Only See You Now"( ) & "Amnesty"(catchy)...enjoyable...89/100

From: 123charpenay Date: May 3, 2013 at 9:40
if you are fan of def leppard (i hope) this record is for you.big sound, big guitars ,superb production, all songs have a very big def leppard influence.only killers no fillers.i recommand the japan import cause it s a very rare cd and the bonus track (track 13) "some hearts " is really excellent ,at the same level than the rest!!!
