Isn't this an R&B album of covers of soul standards?

From: Doug Date: April 5, 2021 at 17:05
Yep, a completely different project for Paul. Takes some getting used to.

I think a lot of people forget that older hard rock artists were not influenced by other hard rock bands because they just did not exist when they were younger. The main influences of these bands are a combination of old rock n roll artists and soul/R&B artists. On here Paul gets to pay homage to at least one of those styles. While yes this is not going to appeal to everyone, especially if you are expecting something similar to Kiss or his last solo album, but if you have a more varied taste in musical styles, you will probably appreciate this is a well intentioned tribute to that era. Pauls vocal style fits this style of music well. Not for everyone but good for what it is.
