Just finished getting through this release and I absolutely loved it! Don't let the word demo fool you, sandwiched between Byte the Bullet and some live Southgang are some truly fantastic songs. Being demos, most of the solo tracks use a drum machine which is a bit disappointing, but it's the songwriting and Jesse's passionate vocals that really shine! I'd list the best of the bunch but after a few listens I honestly can't decide, all I'll say is that Turn The Power On has permanently entered my favorites playlist! For the record I also enjoyed the Byte the Bullet demo more than I expected. They are worse sounding quality wise since they were probably ripped from cassette but the songs are pretty good (Party Time has an especially great instrumental jam). But let it be known, the songs blow the awful album title out of the water! Don't get scared off by the word 'demo'. Great songs are timeless, demo or not. You can trust that I'll be spinning this one over and over again! 85/100
