estoy de acuerdo con el colega

8 years of waiting and what do we get? Orion the Hunter-style screech! "I Need Your Love" and "Surrender To Me" is the kind of faceless AOR hackwork I always believed Boston had the ability to transcend. One thing for sure, this CD makes the RTZ album frm '91 look pretty good by comparison. This album proved that a Boston without Brad Delp is scarcely worth considering.

From: javier Date: January 11, 2002 at 13:04
este disco de boston es tan bueno como todos lo anteriores.el cantante es tan bueno como brad delp.para terminar diré que el que escribió el anterior mensaje es un pobre ignorante

From: TIM Date: June 4, 2002 at 21:56
I liked about half the songs on here. It's not their best.

From: jason Date: June 4, 2002 at 21:58
GOD DAMN IT TIM!!! I already told you what their best album is!! Pay attention!

From: Desslar Date: June 5, 2002 at 14:50
Good but not great. Where's Brad Delp? For that matter, where's the rock? Walk On is the only track that really rocks, just as Third Stage only had one rocking track (Cool Your Engines). Leave the AOR cheese to Styx and bring back the rock guys! On a side note, this is much better than the first RTZ album though.

From: chief7 Date: June 13, 2002 at 20:44
Fran Cosmo could never live up to Brad Delp but he did a fairly decent job. Where is the harder edge though. Definately doesn't live up to Boston or Don't Look Back.

From: Desert Rat Date: August 31, 2002 at 20:07
Weak, weak, weak. Only two good tracks here: "Surrender To Me", and the "Walk On Medley". The entire rest of this is slick, synthetic filler. Whatever happened to the Boston of yore who made old-style hard rock without synthesizers or sequencers?

From: robert Date: October 22, 2002 at 10:02
Me encanta!! tiene verdaderos himnos de Aor, SE NOTA Q SON UNO DE los grupos claves dntro del estilo. no dejeis d escuchar LIVIN FOR YOU. una pasada!!

What is wrong with this CD? Nothing in my opinion, it's still a strong Boston CD! It doesn't have the so-called "CLASSICS" from the first two CDs, but it's just as good as every CD in

From: Chris Date: June 8, 2003 at 9:22
I agree with the last comment totally. This is still a great cd. There is nothing wrong with it at all, and Cosmo does a fine job in Brads absense.

From: Steven Ertelt Date: December 22, 2003 at 23:52
I guess I have to disagree with the bashing most of you here are giving this album. No, it's not as good as previous Boston albums, but it still rocks and has some strong cuts. I Need Your Love is a great tune with a super hook. Surrender to Me, Magdalene, and Walk On are good as well. Yes this is a bit softer than previous albums, but put it on in the middle of a rotation of Boston CDs and this is a good change of pace. 7/10 from me.

From: Gar Date: January 6, 2004 at 18:50
Gotta agree with the last few posters. This album always gets a bum rap, but I always liked it. Sure, it doesn't make us forget about their first 2 classic albums. But in my opinion it's on par with "Third Stage"(another worthy release). Although I like Brad Delp as a vocalist, I really didn't miss him here. Cosmo does a great job. Not much music from this genre was coming out in '94. It was good to see Boston sticking by their classic style rather than attempting something "trendy".

From: Robert Date: January 14, 2004 at 1:17
This album is a masterpiece. It may take a few listens to get to love it though. It's the classic Boston sound only ultra-melodic, ultra-harmonic and ultra-beautiful. It's mellower than the previous albums but it still rocks. The fuzz guitars are still there. One of the best albums in rock history.

From: michael,belfast Date: May 17, 2004 at 17:11
come on, this was and still is an amazing cd. it was a breath of freash air when it came out [ in the height of grunge ]. boston stuck to their style and ignored grunge entirely and my only gripe is that it is only 45 mins long, but all brill songs.

From: TIM (2) Date: July 9, 2004 at 6:14
Agree with the last couple of posts on this one. I could do without the medley stuff in the middle, and the songs tend to go on a minute or two too long, but there is great stuff on here. "Surrender To Me" has great harmonies, as does the excellent "Magdalene" with it's awesome chorus. This still has the Boston sound, and although it's hardly a classic it still gets regular spins on my Cd player. 8/10.

From: rocketron Date: July 20, 2004 at 8:16
First 3 tracks and last 3 tracks are all crackers.Middle awful.

From: Harald Date: September 3, 2004 at 18:49
All I can say about this is I LOVE IT!!! GREAT CD and indeed a classic!!!

From: Wotty Date: September 3, 2004 at 19:12
To Harald.Well said mate,Walk On always seemed to be the chronically overlooked and undervalued Boston album in my opinion. But I rate it...

From: Date: November 18, 2004 at 4:56
I like this CD 2nd best. I find the change of singers refreshing and the music very emotional. We Can Make It is one of Boston's best tracks and there is a story behind the song that makes it even more emotional. 9/10

From: Kain McCabe Date: March 16, 2005 at 0:41
I dig it. No doubt a good cd, very underrated. The first two tracks are the best and excellent. Third a good hit. And Whats your name is another that shouldnt be overlooked. Cosmo does a great fill in role, great voice!

From: Trick Taylor Date: March 31, 2005 at 12:28
What used to come across as fun, bloated, over-produced arena rock now reeks of mindless 80's teen movie soundtrack junk. I love Boston, but this is boring.

From: RockHits Date: June 28, 2005 at 1:45
A step up from third stage for sure. I think Boston needed a new vocalist to add some life to them. I would give this CD the same 8.5 I gave don't look back. We Can Make It is Boston's most under rated song IMO

From: Lovedrive Date: January 6, 2006 at 14:13
Increible como atrapa la voz de Funderburk. Las tres primeras canciones son muy buenas, luego se desinfla un pelín

From: Carlos A. Date: March 31, 2006 at 12:19
Maravilloso,Magico. 10/10

From: Metalmusicman Date: January 1, 2007 at 18:49
I just love this excellent band, but this is just weak at best and that really sucks to say. The only songs here that were any good at all, were the "Walk On" medley and "Surrender To Me". It's not because of Brad Delp not singing either. The songs are just not there for me this time. Bummer.

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: October 13, 2007 at 22:15
Gran Disco!!

From: ferstyx Date: October 15, 2007 at 19:03
I Need Your Love y Livin' for You mis favoritas. Su ultimo buen trabajo.

From: DanDare Date: October 22, 2010 at 10:41
I bought and gave it a couple of listens. It's not brilliant but marginally better than it's predecesor as it rocks a little more and seems a little more cohesive. Anyway, what do you care what I think... you've probably got the album already anyway!

From: pibe Date: November 5, 2012 at 17:34
muy bueno

From: 123charpenay Date: November 9, 2012 at 15:22

each song of this cd is a monument. boston have a very big superior class than all others hard rock bands.they have their own exceptional style.never a band take the risk to imitate boston it s impossible mission.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 24, 2018 at 14:35
After 8 years of silence the band returned with this release that contains some pleasant Prog/AOR and Rock songs. My fave ones are tracks # 1(a hit single,i really like this nice song),2,3(nice),5,7,9(nice) & 10(nice)...enjoyable stuff of a band that even though they have created some good music shamely was labeled in a lower position than others.85/100

From: hair metal again Date: August 21, 2021 at 8:51
very good release for BOSTON back in 94 with half of the stuff ("livin for you",'magdalene",'surrender to me","i need your love") being classy and the other half of it being ok!Fran Cosmo does a great work and overall Walk On stands proud near the rest of their catalogue
