The Greatest Hits from the greatest band ever.

From: koogles Date: January 2, 2002 at 7:30
A botched attempt at encapsulation. Contains what you'd expect, but throwing on the Star Spangled Banner and a "Kalodner-edit" of a mediocre new track ruins what should have been a fat-free, all-killer, no-filler compilation. Some crucial tracks were omitted in the process: "Can'tcha Say/Still in Love", "It's Easy", "We're Ready" and "Hitch a Ride". The only saving grace is: we didn't have to wait 8 years after "Walk On" for this to emerge!

One of my favourite bands!Great musicians, great guitars, great Boston!Greetings from Bulgaria!

From: jason Date: June 3, 2002 at 18:56
I don't understand this album? Their debut album was a greatest hits. It's the best debut album by any band ever!!

From: TIM Date: June 3, 2002 at 22:50
I never suspected you thought so high of Boston jason. I consider that album to be one of the best for sure. I could never get tired of hearing it.

From: jason Date: June 4, 2002 at 17:32
TIM, That first Boston album is unbelievable. Like I said, it's the best debut I have ever heard. Everything about it blows me away. From volcals & guitars to production & mixing. For a band to go into the studio and have their first album come out like that one is outstanding! They could have stopped after that record and walked away if they wanted too. They didn't have to prove anything after that album.

Its ok, I expected much better though.

Great compliation "Smokin, Rock n Roll band, Amanda, and More than a Feelin" I like these songs the most, out of the whole album, the album is solid, but the tracks i just mentioned are my favorites.

No esta nada mal esta recopilacion, y no es para menos, con esos temazos y esos pedazo d musicazos... una buena manera d descubrir uno d los grandes grupos miticos del AOR.

From: Blaster Date: November 6, 2003 at 3:51
great collection if you stop the album after track 14. i can't believe scholz changed rock music forever musically and invented the rockman, hes like music's leonardo davinci

From: rocketron Date: July 20, 2004 at 12:05
I agree tracks 15 and 16 are totally unnecessary.Should have finished with "Hollyann".Otherwise a good compilation.

It's funny for a greatest hits album, how they could add possibly 4 of the worst songs they have ever done. Too many songs were missed IMO

From: Leafsfan97 Date: March 10, 2007 at 12:03
We lost the greatest vocalist in Rock and Roll yesterday. God Speed Brad RIP

From: juan carlos Date: June 19, 2007 at 14:28
Boston.. 9.5/10

Gran compilado de Boston que van desde el Aor mas sutil ("Living for You") hasta el Hard Rock de ("Feeling Satisfied")y bueno ademas del Himno "More than a Feeling" entre otras maravillas musicales que aparecen registradas en este sobrio "Greatest Hits".Solo para amantes de la buena musica.10/10

From: DanDare Date: October 22, 2010 at 10:58
I guess a Greatest Hits album is as good a place as any to find out about a bandf or to hear some of their lesser known stuff, and that can be said for this one. Obviosuly all the well known songs are on here as you'd expect, but I do like 'Higher Power' as well.

From: Doug Date: October 22, 2010 at 13:53
If folks do not know Boston's music they are aliens from a different planet. Even the "lesser known" songs are staples. This band was HUGE in the 70's; one of the greatest singers in rock history (RIP Brad Delp)...their Achilles Heel was they were way too slow in putting out music. They could have ruled the world.

From: happy2849 Date: January 13, 2011 at 14:15
The only release I have by this band, although I am tempted to find their first, due to comments above! These guys were on top of the heap in the 70's and this is a good place to get any idea what they sounded like!

From: 123charpenay Date: March 13, 2013 at 13:12

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 23, 2016 at 16:02
Nice compilation from one of the best Pomp/AOR acts in the USA...tracks 3(classic of all times),,5,6,7(nice),8,9 6 11(nice) are of complete domain .90/100

From: Auslander Date: February 15, 2021 at 5:13
They need to remaster this release, remove Star Spangled and the Higher Power Kolodner edit and add "I had a Good Time" from Corporate America and "Heaven on Earth" from Life, Love & Hope and then this Boston Greatest Hits will be the 2nd best Greatest Hits ever (behind Queen).
