|Awesome album!!! Just as wonderful as the first one!!! It really rox az! But songs here are kind of AOR, different than the first album that's a classic hard rock!

|Even better than the debut! Play 'To Have and To Hold' at your wedding & reduce your chances of divorce. 'Waiting For the World to Change' has a huge sprawling chorus that reaches out & hugs you. 'Long Time Coming' is like 'Still Loving You' from the debut. My favorite tracks are 'Come In Out of the Rain' & 'Love Ain't Easy', but this is solid all the way through (i.e. no cheesy 'In the Raw' here!). A must for all Journey fans, this made the 10 best list of the 90s for many, including myself.

|this is the best cd i have bought! very consistant! its hard to pick a best song from the album cause there all as good as eachother. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD will be my wedding song. just want to know what albums there are out there similiar to this, please tell me!
||Date: August 1, 2002 at 12:35|
|Hi AdamB. The Storm have released two albums. equally good I think. You might also want to listen to bands like Silver, Hardline (Awesome) and The VU. The VU has Gregg Rollie and Kevin Chalfant from The Storm playing. Its just as good as any Storm release. A band which is a bit harder is Royal Hunt.

|Again a CD which deserves to be described as a true AOR CLASSIC ! Their first was alread marvellous, but this one is big business. Great from the first to the last song ! Not to be missed ! ESSENTIAL !!!!!!!!!!!!

|Never even knew they had a 2nd album out before I discovered this site. Cool!
||Date: May 25, 2003 at 6:52|
|10 out of 10 for sure!!! Perfect pure AOR record. Definitely a classic. However, I always skip 'Livin' It Up' whenever I listen to the CD. It reminds me too much of 'In The Raw' crap from the debut. 'Livin' It Up' is better than that, though. Another song that is a bit flat is 'Give Me Tonight'. I think this song would be better with more Chalfant vocals. Best tracks: 'What Ya Doing Tonight', 'To Have And To Hold', 'Come In Out Of The Rain', 'I Want To Be The One', hell I almost mention 'em all!

|Uno de los mejores discos de puro aor de los 90. El disco no es una 'masterpiece' pero tiene momentos realmente brillantes: I want to be the one, To have and to Hold, What ya doin Tonight y la mega - espectacular a dos voces: Love isn't easy

|Great cd. 'Waiting for the World to Change' is one of those songs that can really make you smile when you're feeling sad! It's a pity that bands like The Storm split up- the world gets a little poorer, you know.

|This is a great band, I'm 22 years old and I just love AOR and Melodic ROck, and bands such as Storm give me very good moments in which I can buy some beers and listen what this great music is about. My favorite Storm song is 'Love ain't easy' I listen to it everyday on my way to school and even girls of my same age love this band!!!, that's great.. Cheers, Greetings from Mexico... Keep listening guys!!! STORM ROCKS

|Indeed, another AOR MASTERPIECE this is !!! Not to miss ! And their debut is also stunning ! Mr. Chalfant knows what he does ! GREAT !
||Date: December 10, 2003 at 16:53|
|Few songs here are pure aor heaven. The rest i also very good. One of the best records of all time for sure. Chalfant and Rollie are terrific singers and they shine together. BTW My wedding song will be 'To have and hold' or 'Till death do us apart(White Lion)' hmm...tough choice...

|one of the classiest aor albums ever made.its a crying shame that their record company didnt promote this album properly 'cause this would've been huge back then!!.during that time i remember a lot of people wondering when the new journey album would come out....journey!?i mean i love this band....i really do! but when the storm released this album i thought to myself ...who the hell needs journey when this guys are their perfect substitute!?unfortunately they only lasted two albums and that

|Better than the, also excellent, first album, and probably edging the mighty V.U album also. The first 4 tracks are just magnificent, hook-laden pure AOR just the way I love it. 'Livin' It Up' and 'Fight for the Right' are probably (if I'm being harsh) fillers, but the rest is so outstandingly good it's more than made up for. 9.5/10.

|As someone very new to this site,I am trying to make up for lost time.AOR is my music and EYE OF THE STORM is one of the best cds I own,with both Chalfont and Ramos involved,it proves my point.And as for WHAT YOU DOIN TONIGHT,after nearly 10 years,it still grabs the hell out of me.9.5/10 OUTSTANDING...

|WELCOME ON BOARD, WOTTY !!!!! We need more people like you here, with good taste and with a great heart for the best genre out there : AOR ! And indeed, this is a fantastic record to let the other know what's your taste. I saw you also like the new Stan Bush, Deacon Project etc. a lot. Welcome, let those alternative guys/girls see what's good music, my friend. They still have to learn a lot, because they think that Butch Walker and co are outstanding ! What a joke. We know better !

|Just got the CD from AOR Heaven. What a band! What a singer - Kevin Chalfant. How about reforming, guys. Next to GIANT, these are the gods of AOR.

|To Jasper.Well done for getting quality....

|I must admit I just prefer the debut due to a couple more memorable tunes, but that said, this is by no means a failure. If it is a lesser album than the debut it is by a song or two. This is still stellar melodic rock, with amazing vocals. I still love the songs with the dual vocals! Great CD!!!

|This cd and the self titled one by THE STORM are in my opinion the 2 best AOR cds of all time.No other AOR releases come near to these fine pieces of family silver.These 2 cds are the yardstick to measure other AOR cds.I never get fed up playing these 2 cds.10 out of 10.
||Date: December 5, 2004 at 1:24|
|Man. This is a truly great release. I'm playing it right now. (Sorry neighbors) A buddy of mine was kind enough to mention this one and the debut to me. I think we were discussing Journey. I haven't thanked him enough. It's well worth the price. Solid from beginning to end. I just with they'd done more. I don't have any Two Fires, but they're on my list! It's hard to single out any one song for mention, so I won't! Get this CD!
||Date: December 17, 2004 at 20:27|
|'Waiting for the world to change' is my favorite AOR song! This album should have made it to every radio on this planet! Incredible stuff! 10/10
||Date: December 30, 2004 at 7:36|
|how can people argue about a cd like this one? A str8 classic AOR styled 80's record can't produce much of debate; take it or leave it. For me it's a very good record with nice melodies and the traditional sound of the genre. The only drawback is the rather floppy lyrics; still the sound is great. kevin chalfant is a good singer but personally i'd prefer steve augeri he is the man!
||Date: January 29, 2005 at 2:15|

|One of the truly great albums of it's type and deservedly given all the praise from everyone here. It don't get a lot better than this one (Journey's - Escape album excluded of course). Everytime I play this, the track i always play half a dozen times is 'Give Me Tonight'- goosebump time when the guitar solo kicks in - phenomenal song, and definatley my top tune. BRILLIANT.

|Right Jez, this is BRILLIANT AOR ! I fully agree !
||Date: February 9, 2005 at 11:24|
| OH MY GOD - What a surprisingly good album! Unluckingly, the album starts up with it's worst compositition ''Don't Give Up'' but the rest 11 tracks are overwhelming enough to give an absolute AOR fan's pleaser. ''E.O.T.S'' is full of straight AOR melodies and dressed up with an ultra-polished production (which in this case it fits perfectly to the soft-rock sound of the album).
||Date: February 9, 2005 at 11:43|
| (Continue) It's sound may be so stereotyped and the songs are way too predictable, simply because there are meant to please the fans. Track no2 is an AOR anthem, had it been released in the 80s, it would have enjoyed major success!. ''To Have and to Hold'' is ''Open Arms'' no2...Nevertheless, what really stands out as the album biggest thrill are the parts where Chalfant and Rollie exchange vocals creating such colors to give extra boost to the songs! ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL

||Date: March 10, 2005 at 14:38|
|Wow what an awesome cd. I like this one better than the first one. I feel the songwriting has matured & the chorus' & hooks are more memorable. After I listen to this cd, I find myself singing the choruses in my head over & over. Don't Give Up, Waiting For The World To Change & I Want To Be The One are just a few highlights but there are no fillers on this cd. Definitly a Top AOR classic of all-time.

This is an amazing album, classic indeed!!!!!! the thing that goes unsaid at times is how good Greg's vocals are on this one, just amazing, we need more of this stuff!!! Give me Tonight, Love Isn't Easy, I want to be the one, and Don't give up are fantastic!!!

|this is the best aor album of all time it has it all the dueling lead vocals which both are great. this album should have been a smash hit. lets hope this band releases another album and the members quit playing band with the likes the band that calls it self Journey. which by the way has no major record label. i am not putting down Journey but i think the majic left with Steve Perry
||Date: August 24, 2005 at 13:42|
|I AGREE WITH ALL GUYS ON THIS ONE.THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST 90'S MELODIC ROCK/AOR ALBUMS.GREAT MUSICIANS AND NOT A BAD SONG HERE.TRACKS 2,5,6,7,10 ARE AMAZING,BUT IS THIS ALBUM COMPARABLE WITH THE 80'S PELEASES?(SURVIVOR,SIGNAL,BAD ENGLISH,FORTUNE,BLVD,STRANGEWAYS,VAN STEPHENSON AND MANY OTHERS...)I DON'T THING SO.

|This 2nd release as GREAT as the 1st! every tracks had an outstanding effort! kevin still amazed me with his melodic vocals.. the opening track is awesome & the 4th track is another amazing ballad..still very recommended for AOR / melodic rock fans! its just too bad for a great band like 'em, they just have 2 albums in they carrer!try kevin's another project called : Two Fires, not as perfect as The Storm but still kick ass!!..9/10
||Date: December 20, 2008 at 21:35|

|First comment of 2010..where are the listeners of good stuff???..just joking guys!..well,this second release is a very good one but their debut is definetely a mind blower!..this one is less consistent,it keeps the magical composition and song writing of this 4 magicians(Chalfant,Rolie,Ramos & Marlette)Valory and Smith did not play here.."Don't Give Up" solid,just that,"Waiting For The World To Change" nice ballad and a great title,this is what we really need,a change,"I Want To Be The One" a highlight,"To Have And To Hold" wonderful ballad and one of the best songs of the album,"Love Isn't Easy" another goodie goodie along with "Fight For The Right","Give Me Tonight" is a smooth cool track with a Phil Collins atmosphere perhaps rockier than any Collins' song,really nice indeed,"Soul Of A Man" is a nice duo courtesy of singers and of course,this brings us back 2 their debut album,just wonderful song!,"Come In Out Of The Rain"(highlight) and "Long Time Coming"(awesome)..as you can read

|What can I say anymore than above mentioned comments? this is real gem of melodic rock-pure Aor of middle 90's!!! Kevin Chalfant: Lead vocals; Gregg Rolie: Lead vocals,Keyboards; Josh Ramos:Lead and rhitm guitars,backing vocals; Ross Valory:Bass guitar; Ron Wikso: Drums & percussion; Bob Marlette:Production An all-star that couldn't wrong anyway!!!heaven on earth! Greeting from Italy to real lovers of pure Aor!! Desio75

||Date: June 11, 2012 at 7:40|
|How anyone can say that the debut is more melodic than this is beyond me! The debut is filler compared to this one. Barring one track, the desperately un-melodic 'Livin' it up,' these are a collection of some of the most beautiful AOR tracks ever recorded (IMO.) Soaring melodies and harmonies, polished guitar work and flawless sonwriting. The highlight has got to be 'Don't Give Up.' AOR doesn't get much better than that. 99/100
||Date: February 14, 2013 at 10:32|
|Great AOR CD, wish they would do a third....the first 2 are classics
||Date: June 23, 2017 at 3:07|
|I'm not sure how sacrilegious such an opinion is around here, but with all of these Journey comparisons....this is better than Journey. For one, ALL of the songs are top-notch, from 1-12. The album itself flows perfectly. The production is great. It's just as good on the 50th listen as it is the first. What more can you ask for, really? What a gem!

|a clear masterpiece for THE STORM back in 95 ,back in a time when the hard rock genre didnt have so many big productions like the previous years!everything here is of the highest quality from songwriting to musicianship and overall this was big enough to go to the mainstream!all the songs are excellent and especially "fight for the right","love isnt easy","i want to be the one" and "give me tonight"! a must have for sure
