Have seen this quite a bit on eBay recently for much less than the average above, so take a look. Is excellent West Coast stuff, not that dissimilar to Becketts' other band Player. Is one of those rare CDs that's well worth paying over the odds for, as is anything involving the excellent Steve Kipner.

Yes this is a Good Lite/AOR or Wescoast/AOR release, similar Toto Late 80's, 2AM or Planet 3, asi que si no tienes este que esperas porque estas ante un buen album Fino y con Clase, en cortes me quedo con In a Perfect World, Stranger Things Have Happened, Raise You Up, Body and Soul, After All this Time hacen un buen album hecho para relajarse.

From: juan carlos Date: March 29, 2006 at 19:36
Tambien en terreno liteAOR "the deep end" "raise you up" "after all this time" y la bella "In No Uncertain Terms". De los temas westcoast me quedo con la 1,3 y 10. Un consejo: Escúchalo contemplando el mar.. jeje. 9/10

THINK OUT LOUD – THINK OUT LOUD (1988) Steve kipner y Peter Beckett, tanto monota, monta tanto! Rodeados eso si d Geniales colaboraciones como: Michael Landau, Randy Goodrum , Bob Marlette, Steve Lukather, Bobby Caldwell, una autentica Joya Legendaria del A.O.R mas puro. Tipico sonido caracteristico d 1988 RAISE YOU UP – El tema Estreya, al menos para mi. Vaya Teclas, me recuerda muxo a Planet 3. AFTER ALL THIS TIME – Tema d Player, Realmente una Grandiosa cancion, elegante y muy currada. D mis

D mis Preferidas sin duda. STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED – Brutal, y sensacional Tema d A.O.R. FAITHFUL LOVE – Maraviyosa interpretacion del Gran Meter Beckett (Placer y Beckett)con ritmos un pelin Reagges.. TALK TO YOURSELF – Sonido peculiar, pelin raro, con muxa programacion… IN A PERFECT WORLD – Sonido Hi-tech d muxa calidad! THE DEEP END – Bonita Composicion. IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS – Pedazo d Medio Tiempo, Vaya comienzo!!

Brutal y Super Recomendado!! 8’5 d 10!!

Good westcoast/aor album.Specially the ballads such as "deep end"& "In no uncertain terms" are killers.the rest of the songs are listeneable too but the 2 songs afformentioned were and still are my old time favourites.Enjoy!!!!.

yeh, I bet this was an influence on Planet 3. That would be the closest comparison I could give anyway. A lot of good songs. Raise You Up, The Deep End, In No uncertain Terms, Stranger things have happened. Hell, even the more filler stuff like Talk to Yourhelf is funny

I only own the excellent 'Shelf Life' and bar the odd song here and there, had never heard this all the way through before, until this timely re-issue arrived through the letterbox this week. I'd say this is pretty much on par with 'Shelf Life' and as with most things with Beckett and Kipner name, you know the quality meter is going to be stuck pretty much towards the top. The whole host of session guys featured on here should give you a clue as to the quality of the thing aswell. Top quality Westcoast and as mentioned, not too far from the excellent Player stuff ('Spies Of Life' more than the soft rock of the earlier albums) or Peter Beckett's excellent solo album.

To be more specific about this wonderful Westcoast/Lite AOR album...well,magnificent vocals by Peter Beckett(former Player band) & Steve Kipner, great melodies in songs and very tight musicianship(that's what makes the album a delightful one)...my 2 long time faves are the mega ballads "The Deep End" & "In No Uncertain Terms" but also another goodies such as the cool one "In A Perfect World","Stranger Things Have Happened","Raise You Up","Body & Soul" & "Talk To Yourself" will put a smile in your face like it did 2 me ...pleasant album by all means....94/100

Joya AOR que no debe faltar, temas alta calidad!

From: Monsieur Renard Date: October 28, 2017 at 13:27
Nice album, surely enjoyable, but there are two real stinkers on this album: "The Deep End" and "After All This Time" are really unlistenable. But the rest really stands out. Great songwriting, great musicianship and great vocals!

From: tomdwa Date: March 7, 2020 at 18:53
Very classy aor-westcoast album, blessed with a luxury production. Good song writing and musicianship too. In a perfect world and Raise you up are my personal favourites.

From: Macca Date: November 30, 2021 at 17:39
in my all time top ten AOR Hi Tech West Coast albums. Not a weak track here. Awesome production...crisp and clear.... magical "chorus" arpeggios...memorable melodies and compressed power chords....... its a hi tech junkies heaven..wonderful slap bass too...... "Raise You Up" with its "faux" crowd noise is an absolute gem.....the follow up Shelf Life was almost as good !!

From: Macca Date: June 17, 2022 at 13:49
simply one of the very best ever AOR Hi tech albums of all time. It always gets returned to in my cars cd player... top notch production too.... it has everything...... melodies arent alays too predictable either....their song writing ability shines here....some great pseudo Chicago vibes on acouple tracks. I love "Raise You Up" with the faux crowd noise at the start end end..with the crowd chanting... a real inspiring track.... cant fault it one bit...in my all time top ten albums of any genre
