I can't believe there's no comment here. These guys are kind of like a mix of Whitesnake and Dream Theater. Great AOR!

From: TIM Date: May 29, 2002 at 18:07
Forget the previous description. I had only heard 2 or 3 tracks on Audiogalaxy at the time, but I now own the disc. It's great. Highly recommended. It is indeed hard rock and not aor. I wish I could find the song Don't Give Up but I don't have a clue where to look. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the tip.

Pay whatever you have to for this album. There's currently one on Ebay. Grab it while you can because you won't see it often.

Going by the samples this sounds great, maybe if they got the cover art right it would have sold more, hence it would be cheaper to buy..

From: David Date: August 16, 2002 at 19:30
TIM, is this album really that good?

From: TIM Date: August 16, 2002 at 22:22
Yeah, well worth the $25-$35 you'll have to shell out for it. I really liked it.

I got this one it's great a cd more of a cross between victory-motley.Some songs on the bluesy side ,hard driven rock .The singer has more of a rough voice butt still a great cd.

The Darxon album "No thrills" (previous to this) includes the song "Don´t give up". Great song and great album. "Banging" really rocks hard!!

Thanks visitor.

Hey Tim - I just downloaded "Dont Give Up" from WinMX. Sounds Great! Let me know if you want a copy.

From: TIM Date: August 9, 2003 at 13:57
I have both "Don't Give Up" and "Hungry" from Audiogalaxy. I plan to buy 2 of their other albums eventually. Thanks anyways.

From: visitor Date: August 20, 2003 at 13:39
By the way, why aren´t their two other albums listed on this site? No Thrills is a great hard rock album, every song has the quality that should have made the band a lot bigger than they ever were!!

From: TIM Date: August 20, 2003 at 14:26
It's up to the people on the site to submit the info. With just 5-6 contributors, it's difficult to bring up the numbers people want. Just go to the left where it says "Submit CDs to HH" and fill out the information. People wrongfully assume that every single cd here is one Dan has posted from his collection. They come mainly from us. Many say they don't have time. Everybody has time to submit something- even if it's only 1-2 per month. Fact is, you make time for what's important to you.

Do this lot have a song called "Heartbreaker" or something similar? Heard it on the radio years ago and still have a crappy tape of half the song! And still love it! Let me know which album it's on if possible. Ta

I am a big fan of DARXON and i have their 80s albums (KILLED IN ACTION from 1984, TOKYO mini-lp from 1985 and NO THRILLS from 1987). Just cool and great german 80s metal with melodie.

Vaya sorpresa me he llevado con esta muy buena banda de Hard Rock. las iniciales "On The Run" y "Walk in the Shadow of Madness" son temazos de HR o la tremenda "Shout!", la bluesística "Down and Dirty" con riffs a lo AC/DC, "White Line" y "Heart of Stone" de lo mejor! y para el final dejo a "DANCING UNDERCOVER" HR melódico de primer nivel y mi favorita del disco. "Waiting for Your Heart" una semi-balada nada mal, por cierto el último tema no es cantado.. Recomendadísimo. Rock On!! 8.8/10

This is raw hard rock, not being a fan of this scene, I liked the melodic tracks more. While the rest is probably not bad at all for someone who's into that stuff, I can't say I really liked it. Aside from a few tracks, it kinda bored me. Then again, I'm more into AOR/melodic rock, and this is definitely rougher, so my opnion doesn't really count

From: BIG-TIME Date: May 30, 2008 at 12:46
Ok this is nothing like Whitesnake or Dream Theatre! it's not bad but then again it's not that good either, get it if you see it cheap like I did $10 hahaha. On the Road and Shout are my fav's from this album but they still lack that something...they sound very indie! and music is not tight or well produced...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: Dance Nation Date: August 12, 2008 at 16:25
I can't believe this band passed me by in the 80's! I have never heard of them until now when I stumbled on them in youtube and thought "Hey they look cool in a kinda Armoured Saint/Alien (UK)/Warrior kinda way". The two tracks I heard ('Walk in the Shadows of Madness' and 'Place Where I Belong') reminded me a little of Accept (with less annoying vocals!) combined with a raw LA sound circa 1984. Gotta track their CD's down now! Straight ahead, no-nonsence metal done WELL!

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: January 8, 2014 at 15:45
Did these guys have any kind of presence in America at all? I sure never heard of them, then or later. In fact, this site is the ONL way I would have heard of them in the first place. Anyway, the sound is traditional German metal, but the attitude isn't as serious as that would imply. The guitar tone is very similar to mid-'80's Accept, the playing not unlike Defenders/Painkiller-era Judas Priest (the less breakneck-fast stuff), but the songs themselves have more of a lighthearted sense of hellraising fun, and not the steely-eyed odes to the Brotherhood Of Metal that we often get from Germany. That attitude, coupled with the vocals, almost put me in mind of a very heavy Great White. Good disc!
