Probably their most commercially accessible and successful album. Their other albums, while extremely melodic, had a slightly more progressive element to them.

From: ROB GARCIA Date: March 30, 2004 at 11:10
yes i agree! "one eighty" & "road island" are this bands best works;of both albums i would say that "one eighty" is a bit better as it is more balanced in terms of song quality but i would suggest to pick both up as they are really worthy of your collection.

Totally agree with above comments. I really like this CD it takes me back to simpler times with a great set commercial melodic rock/ aor

A major release for the Weatcoast brigade out there, check out 'You're The Only Woman', 'Shape I'm In' & 'Biggest Part Of Me' for 100% perfect wimporama - great stuff. 'Ready' is a strong opener and follows a more AOR Direction along with 'Rock n' A Hard Place. Of all the Ambrosia albums, this, along with 'the rockier 'Road Island' are the ones to track down. When this is good, and the majority of this is, this equals the seminal 'Airplay' release of the same year. YES that good!!!

"Biggest Part Of Me" is probably the smoochiest late night listen of all time- Top class!!

Ah!! Westcoast... What a Style! one of the most representative albums of this genre and "You're the Only Woman" is the Number One song in my Westcoast book. What to say about David Pack!! The best Singer of this genre(Joe Puerta does a good job too but nothing like David). "Biggest Part of Me"(oh God what a song!!! ) "Rock 'n a Hard Place" "Livin' on My Own" "Shape I'm In" "Cryin' in the Rain" and so on.. IMO Their best album by far.. A Must Have. 9.3/10

If you like a mix of AOR and pure westcoast, like ALLIANCE or DAVID ROBERTS, this is certainly worth tracking down. My favourite here is not surprisingly "You're The Only Woman", a track very reminiscent of the softer side of ALLIANCE's 82 album; pure westcoast magic! "Ready", "Biggest Part Of Me" and "Shape I'm In" also impresses. Recommended CD.

Their best album IMO, I actually think Livin' on my own is the best track here, with Biggest part of me and Shape I'm in following close by.

An edgy Westcoast Lite AOR in here 👍 ...a pretty acceptable release... tracks # 4(nice smooth),5,7,8 & 9(nice smooth)are the ones for sure i take in my bag of music.78/100

From: gfranciscop Date: July 8, 2021 at 23:37
You're The Only Woman really feels like a follow up to How Much I Feel. Some tracks still have an slight Progressive edge, particularly in the keyboards, not much really, but just a bit. Biggest Part Of Me the other huge tune on this one. Forgettable as the previous album, except of course for the hit singles. Rating: 7/10. Favorite Track: Biggest Part Of Me.
