Dennis Cameron is a great guitarist!! This is an excellent CD.

From: M. Allen Date: June 18, 2002 at 13:53
One of the best Christian melodic metal bands of the late 80s/early 90s, thanks to the sizzling guitars of Dennis Cameron, who also had a knack for a good hook and excellent production skills, because this CD sounds very clean & tight. The choruses utilize the multi-layered backing vocal sound so adored by fans of this genre, making ANGELICA a heavenly choice for anyone seeking some high-quality melodic metal.

The Best Song on this Album is 'HOLD ON'. It really stands out in music & in lyrics. One of the best Christian Metal Songs of all time.

what a stupid religious categorization Emotions, melodies, music mind, effort, ART always most important than religion. if u want to hear religious utopic messages.. Go to ur own church! or Mosque or Sinagogue.. or sumthin' like that. anyway.. fine arts means is freedom n creativity. u must believe endless universe n endless creative power. this is an excellent album. great sogs, killer guitars., nice vocals.

Great release! Just got it...A lot of TNT inspirations the way I hear it...But that's cool! A great blend of hard & soft material...

From: Hum... Date: May 15, 2004 at 8:00
Noteworker....music is older than the Bible....so originally it wasnt meant to worship God, but to be a medium for men to represent the world.

From: koogles Date: July 27, 2004 at 15:03
The Christian TNT. First album was under-produced & less commercially inclined. Third album was inconsistent and ruined by slap-happy bass playing. Which brings me to album number two: 'Walkin in Faith'. This brilliant release is on par with TNT's 'Intuition' and is easily Angelica's best work. Jerome Mazza's vocals are identical to Tony Harnell's with Dennis Cameron doing things I thought only Ronnie LeTekro could pull off. Production is phenomenal. One of the best Christian hard rock CDs ever

Good comment!! I totally agree!

From: dckiss Date: August 20, 2004 at 13:59
It always surprises me how some people will listen to an album by a band such as Slayer and have no problem with it but is a band has a Christian message then its garbage. Anyway, I personally don't like most of the Christian Metal bands for one of three reasons, either lack of originality, lack of hooks, or bad production. This band suffers from the latter bad production though it is not terrible. However, I can see past it because the songs and musicianship are there. Give This album a shot!

I too am not a christian rock album fan, but the truth of the matter is that this is a bloody good disc! Excellent in places. Good solid melodic hard rock.

From: Dean Date: August 22, 2004 at 12:09
DCkiss- i disagree with you about people not having a problem with Slayer's 'Satanic' image. When i wore a Slayer or Misfits shirt in school i was constantly harassed about being 'satanic' -didn't matter if i wore a Barren Cross or Stryper shirt the next day-i was still tagged as 'satanic' Closed minded people have a problem with any of it-Christian,satanic,jewish,wiccan,whatever. If the music kicks ass then it shouldn't matter.

From: z4roxx Date: January 15, 2005 at 22:56
First 2 tracks are killer melodick hard rock!totally is a great disc, but'Angelica'and'Rock, stock and barrel'are better...

From: headbanger4life Date: September 8, 2006 at 6:11
Forget about the message in the lyrics. You don't have to be religious or a fan of Christian hard rock to enjoy this. The music is fantastic and the vocals are first rate. This one really rocked the hell out of me.

From: Metalmusicman Date: December 31, 2006 at 15:42
This is the one that started me on this band and it is still my favorite. I actualy went in to buy Deliverance's "Weapons Of Our Warfare" when I got this, but the clerk convinced me I would like it. Boy did he hit the nail on the head! This is utterly fantastic in every way. Melodic rock at it's very best. "Hold On", "Set Me Free", and "Bring In To Being" are pure melodic brilliance. The vocal and guitar work are just top notch. Very, very recomend stuff!!!

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: May 15, 2007 at 22:58

Dennis Cameron's fretwork on "Harvest" is superb.A very powerful instrumental to say the least.Nice !

From: 123charpenay Date: April 18, 2011 at 13:57
tracks 1 and 8 are some very great tracks.but the main problem is the voice of the singer.he have exactly the same voice than bob moratti (final frontier).after several spins i have some pain in my head.his voice is boring.it is the trouble with these singers who have a very special voice.we have the feeling to listen always the same song.but if you are fans of final frontier you can buy this cd eyes closed.musically it is great (superb sound of bass).
