My friend was actually at this concert..........I hate him cause I never got to see the band! Always makes me laugh when Dee burps during one of his rants! Great live album, one of the few I listen to a lot! |

TS captured live at the peak of their careers. Live albums don't get much better than this! |

I believe the members of Twisted Sister stopped distribution of this album because it was unauthorized. Anyone know if that's the case? I know I haven't seen a copy of it in quite some time, which pisses me off 'cos I never grabbed it while it was available! |

Tracks 1-14 were recorded when Twisted Sister were at the top of their game. Dee was certainly a smack talker, talking loud and proud about the band's quick rise to superstardom. The last two tracks were recorded in Detroit in 1979, well before the band even had a professional release out. Twisted Sister were a band with a lot of charisma on stage, and this album preserves that charisma. http://www.nolifetilmetal.com/twistedsister.htm |

Thiss is a great live album from one of the early '80's' best live bands. The silly videos and goofy, cartoon-character persona the band took on made people forget, if they ever knew it, just how ferocious these guys could be. So here's a ripping '84 set from the band's longtime stronghold, England. The songs sound so much heavier live, as the band plays them much faster than the studio versions. Dee is a mad dog on stage, yellingand cussing and jtalking shit. This was acctually recorded for an American FM-radio broadcast, and you can telll, because in some places, Dee swears like a sailor, but on the songs most likely to make the final cut, he clearly tones his language down (but not his attitude). |
