Wow, this is pretty bad. I bought this on Ebay because of Jack Ponti's work with Baton Rouge. This isn't even close. The songs just aren't there.

Good rock CD!

A decent melodic hard rock CD in its own right, but a letdown considering the involvement of the great Jack Ponti. After his work with Baton Rouge, fans justifiably expected better from this album, which comes across as simply average. I wasn't exactly angry when I bought this CD--it's not terrible, after all--but neither did I shed any tears when I decided to get rid of it.

Sorry, this CD just does not do it for me. The songs are pretty weak and the production is lacking. I cannot recommend this, even for the most hardened Jack Ponti fans.

From: Chris Date: June 11, 2003 at 23:25
Basically this album lets down Jack Ponti's reputation as a perfectionist and an A1 producer. I just don't like the sound of this album at all. It's modern melodic rock, but the guitar is tuned so far down Nirvana would be impressed. The mix between the guitar and rhythm section is muddy, it's only the vocals that are clearly audible. The album could almost be a punk record.

ok release for Jack Ponti s ANGRY TEARS ,that could be better with another singer!the guitar work is pretty good and there are some great riffs &solos ,but the songs overall dont have big hooks or choruses!not bad ,but certainly nothing special
