|The only reason this CD needs to be discussed is because John Feldmann went on to Goldfinger. Artistically, it's bottom of the barrel.. maybe even lower.

|Actually Mark Dodson produced it. Tribal Monkey is an amazing song but, after that, it's crap.

|One of the best all-around funk-metal albums of the 90s.

|I have the tribal monkey clip in an old video cassete and after all these years i still think it rock's. i'm not a rich metalhead, so i would be pleased if someone would put it on the net .

|I bought this in 92 when I heard Tommy Lee was involved its actually pretty Good, Mr Fun, Tribal monkey ect...What do you expect for the early 90's

|Not too sure about the "glam" label. Electric Love Hogs were an eclectic mix of funk, thrash, rap, and yes... even early 90's hair metal. "Tribal Monkey" is an excellent opener. The rest of the songs don't quite measure up to that standard, but the cd is a good listen overall. I'd say they sound like a cross between Extreme and Ugly Kid Joe. The band were pretty adventurous musically. Too bad this was their only effort.

|I think "Pud" is the best song on it. Tribal Monkey is okay. Very funky/heavy stuff here, definitely not for everyone. Almost like KORN meets Ugly Kid Joe!

|The song "Disappointed" rules on this cd. It's hard to describe the sound of these guys -def not glam-more like early Ugly Kid Joe doing acid with the Chilli Peppers-if you can imagine that-maybe a little Mindfunk thrown in for good measure.

|best song on this album for me would have to be "keep getting up". they should be labeled as funk metal if anything. they are right in their with royal crescent mob, white trash, horny toad, dink (quasi industrial), red hot chili peppers. keeping getting up alone is worth shelling out the 3 or 4 bucks it'l cost ya.

|Pretty good album all round, strong drums and great bass on most tracks. I have an earlier demo or ep on cassette that saw limited release, most of the songs made it onto this album. Shame they disappered.

|Went to see them when they toured with Ugly Kid Joe back somewhere in the early nineties. They rocked the place and I still really love playing this disc. Where are they now??

|It's hard to believe that anyone could compare this amazing album to Ugly Kid Joe. This CD has excellent production, song writing, musicianship, and is very original in it's style. By the way, Tommy Lee only produced two of the tracks. Pick this CD up if your a fan of killer grooves, killer tones, great melodies and harmonies. The lyrics are funny too.

|Found the other tape, it's called "Live At Leeds" was released in 91 and has 7 tracks on it, only "Sittin' Pretty" made it onto the album. Pretty interesting stuff.
