The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular BJATO CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. First comment here apparently, and an opportunity to underline the musical quality of this album. Mats Johanson really shines on the lead guitar here, and the music is very, very melodic, with several lead vocalists that are very good. The opener Cut and paste is one of the many highlights, and other personal favourits include Let you know and Shadow.

A mix of westcoast and AOR. There is no weak track. Amazing.

Westcoast sounding album, similar to Airplay (with horns and double guitars too) for example; mixing/mastering is a bit too loud for my taste though. I Don't Have The Heart is a great slow tempo song. Other tunes get closer to modern Pop Rock sound like in Upside Down, an OK morning mood tune or Shadow, with a modern Stadium Rock chorus (reminds me of bands like Imagine Dragons for example); my problem is that it starts sounding like an 80s album and then it goes to other places, making it confusing. Overall I think the album would be a lot better with a different mix/master more akin to the original 80s Westcoast sound instead of the more plastic modern sound. Rating: 7/10. Favorite Track: I Don't Have The Heart.
