Not NEARLY as good as the first disc but still some memorable tunes one of which is dedicated to Jason Becker. Takes a long time to get into this and in my opinion the tracks last a bit too long but still a good listen every now and then. |

To this day, this cd still gets regular rotation in my player. Can't knock the comment above because all of Howe's releases are essential to any fusion fanatic. However, this is the first Howe cd i purchased back in the middle of the grunge era, searching for something worthwhile to hear & was completely in amazement. It was the most exact, most exciting fusion i've heard probably since Steve Morse & The Dixie Dregs. Sure, i could go down the list of all the great guitar players but this was it. This was the sound. The fluid, melodic shredding highlighted here above the killer grooves & time changes cements Howe as one of the top contemporary guitar jazz rock fusion players. |
