Dennis DeYoung and Kevin Cronin turn in their best performances in years, which is to say, isn't it obvious the difference that good songwriting makes? This is essentially a showcase for Jim Peterik's skills as a writer. In the end, it grows into something much greater. BPG is so right... this CD does grow on you. EXCELLENT STUFF!

This proves how prolific a writer Jim Peterik is. There is not a bad song on this cd. I love the new structuring of "Eye Of The Tiger." Overall, this all-star cast pours out their heart & soul for Jim & does his songs justice. If you do not have it, get it, you won't regret it.

Being specific about my previous comment of 2006 this album by the man behind Survivor or "the brain" of Pride Of Lions is great!!! ...AOR,Southern,ballads...this is what you find in here...a huge list of very talented musicians to fill up the gas the way it has to be!!!...highlights are "Fade To Blue","Can't Say It Loud Enough"(excellent),"To Miss Somebody"(AOR),"Zig Zag"(rocks and with a fantastic good chorus,IMO the best of the album),"Antenna"( ),"Eye Of The Tiger"(interesting version but miles away to be better than the original, imagine to say this of the man who wrote it ) & "Long Road Home"...91/100 ...

Great collection of songs, with contributions from some of the great names in the business (Don Barnes of 38 Special, Johnny Van Zant, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon, Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger, Dennis DeYoung of Styx,...). There are some truly marvelous tracks here, like Fade to blue, To miss somebody, Diamonds for stones, Long road home,... Musicianship at its best!
