The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Arc Angel CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Arc Angel are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I noticed the(1983)S/T band name was one word "ARCANGEL" so maybe there where legal reasons for the word separation in future releases. This is the Cannata show with hired guns much like the debut. I remember back in the day 83' I was in Phoenix and the track "Tragedy" was getting frequent rotation on local rock stations. Arc's debut was a cool release as Cannata has a unique voice, and even today their debut doesn't sound heavily dated like many keyboard driven rock acts of that era. Although the debut barely made a blip on the U.S.charts, today it's considered a cult AOR classic. "Harlequins of Light" combines melodic rock of the early 80's with the Prog/Hi-tech musical material of Cannata's solo albums. The opening track by the same name has a some guitar heft to it (by AOR standards) and is my favorite. After watching the music video and with some of the lyrics ("Voice Of Illuminati") it sounds like Cannata is hip to the New World Order. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9Yf5jVdTNo

Someone needs to tell Jeff Cannata that the rest of the English-speaking world pronounces "Harlequins" as Harley-kwins and not Harley-kins! Apart from that minor niggle, this is a very good album with a high degree of consistent quality. Probably my favourite of the Cannata and Arcangel albums.
