Great r'n'r vocals. Was a great rock album during a time when metal ruled the land. A good precursor to the glam/street rock trend that was soon to come. Anyone know what happened to Fin? lemme know: Fstar@yahoo.com

Yowser!! Truly a defining moment in Pete ways life. An outstanding piece of melodic rock n roll with the spikey tones of Fin bringing a touch of class to the party!! Ther mini lp was cool aswell listen to Rock Steady for an indication of what could have been if they where still on a major at the time! licknspit.....its the shit!!

Sleaze beyond UFO. These guys were a cross between UFO and Girl. Awesome album, messed up band.

From: jarett r. Date: October 22, 2002 at 6:51
frank noon was also in the next band. the next band recorded the four by three ep.

File under Be All End All and forget about it. Vices is one of the best hard rock albums ever! These Brits are the pied pipers of the whiskey soaked and disenfranchised. You can just see them in a smokey pub belting out these classics between pints. I wish I was there. 'Toy With The Passion' is classy and catchy. Too bad they had to hire that pixie Vaughn for SYP. Fin and Brad Sinsel reign as the gods of rasp. Dan- add TKO, Joey C Jones, and Culprit. Happy whatever to ya!!

Great album! Unfortunatly the person responsible for the c.d conversion needs shooting! It`s an appaling re-master and a real shame. On vinyl the bass and drums pumps through on this cd it just sounds tinny! Tc

a excellant album with great songwriting and superb vocals from fin .with fin gone the band lost the charisma afterwards. easily the bands best album with no weak song.

This album was ahead of its time. I bought it in the late 80s and it didn't sound the least bit dated. I love UFO, but this blows away the stuff UFO were doing at that time. Great songs, sleazy vocals, and crunching guitars... this one has everything! Too bad the cd's so damn expensive.

Does Anyone What Happened To Real Guitar Player Of Waysted Ron E Kayeild?

From: Tc Date: May 2, 2003 at 12:57
Contrary to rumour (she knows who she is!) Ronnie Kayfield is alive and well and I believe now owns a record shop. Tc

Pete Way should've taken Paul Chapman with him. The change could've brought out some fresh ideas from both. I bought 'Vices' brand new & I liked this lp for about 3 weeks then it completely fell by the Wayside. Pete's weakness lies in his ability to co-exist with good, creative guitarists. He's not Sheehan, Lee, Jonesy, Geezer, Squire, Hamm, Entwistle... He's a bassist in a 5 piece with over produced bass. UFO allowed him the clout to use his own name. I love Pete but only in UFO.

Ron E. Kayfield has his owm gutitar line, Korina (www.arpkorina.com). Owns a store in PA, Arpeggio where he builds his guitars by hand. He formed a band in 89-90 called Saints & Sinners. He was truly a natural and made playing the gutar look easy. This album is amazing, the gitar playing is some of the best I've heard.

This line-up of Waysted lasted only one album, but what a glorious album it is! Ragged and bruising, itıs pure rock nı roll with no pretensions and little finesse - and its all the better for it! Finıs razor blade gargle voice tops everything off nicely, and as an exercise in high-octane rock nı swagger, this is just about faultless.

I'm Playing a small club gig with Fin this weekend,(Milton Keynes - UK), doing some covers stuff (Springsteen,Seger,Thin Lizzy,Small Faces, John Cougar Mellencamp). His voice is still 100% rock'n' roll & still a great frontman.
