Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

The Good the Bad and the Waysted (1985) is one of the most underated rock album of all times. A master piece. Great vocals (listen to 'Land That's Lost the Love ' WAOW), great songs. The Heaven tonight version presented here is one thousand ahead the 2nd version presented on 'Save your prayers' (1986). LOVE THIS ALBUM ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The 'Save Your Prayers' version of 'Heaven Tonight' was a lot better than this one. Fin was a good singer, but his voice just wasn't right for this song. He was great at singing the harder songs like 'Won't Get Out Alive'. |

The comment is actually about The Good The Bad and The Waysted album (1985). Rough and tough sound. Kinda boring songs. Best one was Around And Around (a Chuck Berry-cover). 6/10 |

This album rocks!!! The lead singer sounds like Brian Johnson of AC/DC. My favorite tracks are; Hang 'em High, land that's lost the love, Ball and Chain, and Dead On Your legs. The guitar playing on Land that's Lost the Love is amazing!!!Overall I would rate this album an 8/10! |
