If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular REO Speedwagon CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from REO Speedwagon are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This album was recorded in Miami at Criteria Studios in 1974, when the Eagles were also using that studio. That may explain why "Out of Control" by Don Henley and Glenn Fry made the album cut. Plus REO and the Eagles both had Irving "I never met at asshole in the music business I didn't like" Azoff as their manager. Richrath and Murphy split songwriting duties, and it's obvious to tell who's who. Murphy is more R&B, and Richrath is more Rock n Roll. Overall, a good album.

WOW $ 76.00 average on Ebay....Man you could Do a lot with $ 76.00 and buying this on cd isnt worth it, NOT unless your a die hard REO fan and have to have everything they have out. BUT its a good cd to say the least

This one is worth any amount. Hell, when Scorps. live in Japan went out of print I had to pay $100.00, then they started reprinting, so whatever. I don't intend on equating this to anything else, it just depends on how much you like a band. I wouldn't say this was a great one but there are some good things about it.

Gary even sings a song on this, that is how desperate they were to shake things up after Lost in Dream left the band Reeling. a few pleasant songs but nothing you would ever hear on the radio then and now, take note that the song Dream Weaver is not the one that's a classic. The band needed a new coat of paint and they were about to get it.
