If you notice that a particular Talk of the Town CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Typical Scandanavian Westcost/ AOR release with Tommy Denanders trademark sound all over it. If you like the fabulous first Prisoner release or The Sayit cd's then you won't go wrong.

From: Rycheage Date: July 3, 2003 at 15:50
The production is multi-layered and in your face and the songs are filled to the brim with harmonies and melody. Fans of the more polished Westcoast style of melodic rock will lap this up. Recommended also for those keyboard loving fans who might be looking for something that isn't necessarily influenced from the 80's.

From: Scandi Date: October 9, 2003 at 20:14
That was my problem Jez: I HATED the Sayit release, but never ever expected that this could be in the same style (NO 80s AOR/Melodic Rock). How can this be so different to the first one??? --The only song I liked and saved is 'NOTHING LASTS FOREVER'.. then I sold it as I did with the Sayit shit. There are better Westcoast albums than the Denander mainstream-fuck.

From: Wotty Date: August 20, 2004 at 13:46
Dug this out and had a good listen,I was not disappointed,Mr DENANDER again, though he has been involved in stronger albums.

Got to say, I like what Tommy Denander is doing for the genre if you like that style, but he is not my cup of tea at all.I think Talk of the Town were a great band and I really liked quite a few of the tracks of the debut, but this sounds like Prisoner and whatever else Tommy does (And that's good for him and his fans) but in the meantime Talk of the Town completely lost thier identity and it sounds identuical to any of his other projects. My opinion? This is a shit AOR release. No offence meant.

I agree with Geoff in that this does sound like alot of the other T D albums & doesn't really have anything to distinguish it above those releases.I would also add that this is not my favourite album by Tommy either (that would easily go to the debut Prisoner album 'Blind') but is far from being a bad one. The general standard of the songs is very good & Thomas Vikstrom puts in a great performance throughout. Taken for what it is, an enjoyable, if unspectacular piece of Scandie Westcoast

From: SCANDI Date: November 18, 2005 at 15:16
Like I mentioned above I don't like this one at all. It's average westcoast/ AOR and nothing like what I expected from TOTT. I think T. Denander messed all up here so I got to an "hater" of him. I don't like his stuff with STREET TALK either. The worst fact is IMO that nobody talks of a TALK OF THE TOWN album anymore but of a T. Denander album here. THOMAS VIKSTRÖM is great, BTW!

No es el AOR/westcoast que yo llamaría clásico pero tiene sus buenos temas y un buen abanderado de este estilo. La voz de Vikstrom esta en buena onda, me gusta. Mis favoritas son "A Life So Frail" y "i believe" luego estan "Night of Fire" y "nothing lasts forever". Buenos solos y buen album. 8.3/10

From: erik Date: March 22, 2010 at 17:04
As fantastic the first TofT was release so bad is this. Thomas voice is great as always but the songs.......man o man, totally uninspired. i have to agree with geoff. this is shit. avoid.
