"Welcome to Norway. Mind if we rock your balls off?" This is very solid hard rock, with a very classic late '70s rock sound at times. I hear Whitesnake with a bit more polish. Definitely guitar-driven, no pomp here folks. Most of the disc is comprised of uptempo rockers, only a few places to take a quick breath. Even the slow tune(s) have more of a bluesy feel than standard ballad fare. If I have a complaint, it's that many of the arrangements are too busy, almost to the point of being muddied. There's simply too much going on at times; it feels frenetic... hurried. It's tough to describe, actually. I almost feel rushed when listening to the songs, to the point that 10 minutes later I don't recall individual songs. It's a solid barnburner that simply didn't catch my fancy, and I'm still wondering why... I should have liked this more than I did, but after about the 6th listen I still can't get into it. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad disc, just not my cup of tea. The performances are tight and musically sound, but nothing really grabbed me. I'll have to revisit this disc after a few months to see if my perceptions change... Rating: 76/100 |

This monster was one of my favorite hard rock releases of last year. A very melodic thick wall of sound with huge guitars. I hope this is the future of hard rock. I can't wait to hear their next one. |

Man...what a surprise to get this for almost nada at a pawn shop and be as surprised as I am over it...And to be produced in 2000....No way in 2000 should a CD be this good/vintage mid to late 80's sound...definitely worth a listen...Has hints of VH and Night Owls (remember them)mixed in to certain tunes...Quote the WidoMakr....never more |

What??? This one didn't impress me at all. Lots of guitars, but no discernible hooks or melodies. Heard good stuff about it, but this is really not good at all. Very disappointing. |

Not the best release I ever heard, but a good solid collection of hard rock songs. 'Calling for you' is an atmospheric gem of a tune, but the rest is not so brilliant. Good, solid hard rock though. If I'm not mistaken, the vocalist / bass player was in DaVinci. |

Very underrated album. The last two comments here dont do this band and album justice at all. Chasing the rainbow, Powertool, Wrong side of town, Red light district, Stranger in the night, Shadow dance, In the mood and Folly town are great powerfull melodic rock songs. Excellent voice. I like this one a lot. Yep this cd rocks your balls off. Suprise album for me. 8,8/10 |

Chasing the rainbow is for me the killer tune here. What a catchy hard rocking melodic rock song. |

Another cd that needs more listenings IMO.This is good hard rock, well played,B.Boge is gooder as bassist than vocalist but It's ok."Stranger in the night"it's easy the killer song here but I don't see any filler, just less good song but totally the cd is good. |
