This release did nothing for me. Boring and no tracks stand out. Take it or leave it!

Isn't "Need You Now" a Lady Antebellum song?

From: Eric3 Date: August 22, 2018 at 19:01
This is yet another Frontiers project that boasts big names but delivers mediocre songs. The first track is amazing, and then the rest of the album falls into the same plodding, mid-tempo formula we've heard a billion times from a billion other del Vecchio albums. It's getting boring guys.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: August 26, 2018 at 1:32
I think we all agree that Johnny Gioeli has the perfect voice for this style of music, and still sounds terrific. That's the good news. Now for the bad: it's another Del Vecchio "project," and the songs are as bland and interchangeable as ever. This "melodic rock" thing has been perfected down to a science long ago, and the result, however unintended, is the forgettable nature of so many of these types of releases. Writing these songs must be like cutting logs at the sawmill, or building cars on an assembly line. Every song has all the right parts exactly in their place, but they all end up going in one ear and out the other. Frontiers isn't the only culprit, as this kind of thing has been going on since bands like Baton Rouge, but Del Vecchio has the current market cornered, and I'm glad to see at least some others finally waking up to the skull-hammering dullness of this music. This is boring even for people still living in 1988.

i m totally agree with eric not with dog house.yes dog house our italian friend mr del vecchio has his corner, i ve against nothing.and you and me fans of melodic rock have lot of chance that mr del vecchio keep the melodic rock flame alive.but honestly it s always the same music ,always the same italian musicians, always the same recipe, always the same sound, always the same formula he change only the singers.it s a little easy.yes it s pleasure for all melodic rock fans but it s "very easy" and finally very boring.baton rouge have absoluty nothing in common with del vecchio s projects.it s an exceptional, fantastic, sentational ,ect ect ect.. hard u s band driven but jack ponti ,a real genius who write a hit when you smoke a cigarette.jack ponti is a factory of hits.mr del vecchio is only a big fan of a o r with always the same sound.

on the bottom (i m not sure of my english sorry)in french we says "sur le fond".it s when we are ok with the main.finally i think i m "sur le fond" ok with doghouse".except his comparison with baton rouge.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: August 30, 2018 at 7:03
I guess my Baton Rouge comparison has more to do with the textbooky, by-the-numbers "project" feel that I've remarked on in the past, rather than the actual quality of the songs. Baton Rouge were assembled (I use that word on purpose, as in assembly-line) by a songwriter who wasn't a member, like what Del Vecchio does. And it's the same style of smooth-voicced, flashy-but-tasteful-guitar melodic rock that, to me at least, is for the most part very safe and vanilla, very corporate. The difference is that in 2018, the supply of new hooks seems to be used up, unlike in Baton Rouge's time.

Oh, and the Lady Antebellum cover...whose idea was that?! WTF?

From: Dx7 Date: October 16, 2024 at 3:54
From San Remo have they been there? If they put the blond wig on Gioeli they could pass themselves off as the Jalisse
