Little known indie CD that appears around the St Louis, MO area from time to time. A sound amazingly like Survivor. There are some tracks on this disc which you would swear is a new Survivor track. This is an indie disc well worth seeking out by any collector of AOR/melodic rock. High quality stuff and great production (with top musicians). Dan says it went for $12 on E Bay!!!! Trust me, if the right person sold this disc, it would fetch over $50. All I can say is if you have the chance, 'GET IT

I used to attend the Holland, MI concerts by LM. He was wonderful to listen to AND to watch. Whatever happened to him? Any news about where he is and if he is still living his music? Let me know via this site! PS...Louis, friends of mine stole your poster for me and I have it in the workout room! Good incentive to get in shape!

The band broke up. Louis is performing piano on his own and teaching (I think). Matt is playing for a new band called Mesh stl.

It's great to read the comments! I went back to school and got my Bachelors and Masters degrees in jazz performance. I now teach music theory at Lewis & Clark Community College and perform several nights a week in the St. Louis area. Usually I play at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel, Jimmy's Cafe On the Park, Hannigan's, or Gabrielles. I threw away about 5 cases each of cds and cassettes of this collection. I had no idea anyone was still interested. lmichae@charter.net

I too used to see Louis at Calypso's in Holland MI. Great show. Recently my 7 year old daughter ran across this CD and she loved it to. She may have a little crush over you Louis. She actually kisses your cover photo and took it for show-n-tell! beandaud@aol.com

My brother bought this piece for 86 dollar on ebay, but in my opinion there are just a couple of good tracks. Comparing this one to survivor is plain stupid.

It's hard to admit it, because i was expecting a lot from this album , and when i finally gave it a couple of listens, i have to say it sucks.Basiclly i can't call it's AOR, where are the melodies ? Only 2 tracks (decent ones) are listeable for aor music lover

yes i agree, can´t call it aor. imo this a 80s clone of josh kadison. no remarkable songs, no catchy tunes. very average release, absolutely not worth that much money some people are paying. 5/10

Excellent AOR gem. I have been a collector for quite sometime and I just found it for $1.99 in a used bin at The Wherehouse. If you like Micheal O'Brian and Eddie Money you will like this slab of brilliance! 10/10

Totally agree with Champions, it´s easy t describe this album the piano ballads reminds me of Elton John and the voice of Louis is very cool, great singer indeed, very good production but the music is just ok. "Not Giving Up" and "Living for the Music" are good songs and my favorite tracks. "Lay With Me" is a very jazzy song, just ok. 7.8/10

Jazz,Rock,Lite AOR,Westcoast...probably is what Louis wanted to record...a mix of those genres which in my personal opinion enriches the album as it can be appealing for many listeners..."Living For The Music" is my fave song in here...some other good tracks are "I Believe","Live A Long Time","Not Giving Up" & "Secrets"...83/100
