Even the lure of nostalgia regarding my long-lost youth circa 1978 wouldn't be enough to give this a curiosity listen; "Please do the right thing and retire" -- there, I "Couldn't Have Said It Better"... |

I think this is an amazing record, it has o many songs full of a voice that never quits, and music that is to die for! This is one wicked record, every track is a stand out except for number 8, but that's just my opinion. If you like Meat Loaf, if you don't like Meat Loaf, buy this record, cause it has a great sound! The most common least liked track is Do It! But only cause its different, so what, its still great. The solo is amazing, and I cry, because I think this is the last piece of Meat's. |

this one is pretty good but misses the steinman touch, the writers are trying to be jim. let the disc run after forever young and a live song -mercury blues kicks in. it really is a nice bonus. song 1, then testify are very good, but the album lacks that x factor. bad attitude and blind before i stop even eclipse this album. |

Yep, Great record made by Meat Loaf, you can hate him or love him, i like his style. Michael Thompson Here!? Nice surprise! Tim Pierce, Kevin Aronoff.. So you have a quality-Guaranteed album. "Couldn't Have Said It Better" is great, "Forever Young" "Did I Say That" and "because of You" are my Faves, the ballads are beautiful as just Meat Loaf knows how to do it. btw "Do It" is a total filler. 8.5/10 |
